Be aware of this store - if you like gambling then go ahead

"I purchased two google flood light camera. They came in shrink wrapped and seemed brand new as promised. The warranty supposed to cover 30 days. After I opened the box I found one of the device was previously used. I contacted the seller via phone, via Facebook and email. They stopped responding. I went to their location in Mississauga and the store is closed and only open by appointment. So if you are unlucky to get a used 9r broken product you are out of luck with this seller. Seemed like a nice guy... But seems like the business is not keeping their promises to their customers. I will be filing a Ontario consumer protection complaint."

Stolen/Blacklisted Phones

"I just wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience with SN Traders/CanadaGSM. Let me preface this by saying I have shopped here many times over the years without issue, but not so much in recent years.

I was interested in buying a Samsung S8 phone and had exchanged some very quick emails, which prompted me to come in the next day to purchase one.

When I arrived they did not have the items in stock they claimed to on the website or over email, however, there were two silver ones available - I wanted black.

I knew something was up when the boxes said 128GB and not 64GB. The IMEI on the box also did not match the back of the device, which also did not match the sticker they put on the back. The IMEI in the status screen did not match the physical one on the devices.

Upon checking the IMEI information, the current IMEI of the phone was that of a disposable Samsung J1 phone, not the S8. When I checked the IMEI on the reverse of the phone it was marked as stolen and blacklisted.

CanadaGSM/SN Traders is no longer responding to messages, and is clearly reselling stolen phones after flashing new IMEI's to them. I was able to personally verify TWO phones sourced from the USA.

Buyer beware, and be sure to check your imei information to ensure it matches the phone and is not stolen.

"SN Traders is back at it again, this time for a larger amount and a sketchier story.

I was partially credited for the money that was owed to me by Naveed Qureshi of SN Traders. http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1479288

http://www.ripoffreport.com/cellular-phone-companies/sn-traders-canada/sn-traders-canada-save-your-wcecd.htm

Shortly after this was resolved he began asking me for stock and asking me what I was buying. He was willing to ship to me without payment, as our company, Negri Electronics, always pays their bills. Business with Naveed was steady. I was buying from him on a regular basis and he would occasionally buy from me. I was careful in what I shipped as to never have a
balance due from him; as I knew I would run into problems if I did.

From 3/2011 to 6/2012 everything was fine. He placed a few larger orders in June of 2012 and these were shipped on time, quickly, without worrying about how we will be paid. That is the last I heard from Naveed for 3 months. He kept my name on Blackberry Messenger, but would not reply to me. Of course the messages were all “read”, but never replied to. I called his office (he is never there) and each time an innocent rep answered telling me that she will relay the message.

In August, when I knew this was going to be an issue I contacted a law firm in SN Traders town of Mississauga. The attorney sent a letter to Naveed demanding payment. Instead of paying me, he contacted me on BBM on August 30th asking why I would try to get my money back this way, as all it would do is make him more angry and unwilling to
pay. He started “well I will sort out ur balance today. But lemme tell u one thing if u don't mind. Ur threatning calls
, or ur lawyer friend. Cannot take out one single penny. If u don't believe me try that way. U stay nice with me that is all I want. I want good relations with u. U were in trouble I always help u. I was not calculating ur balance and u told everyone I know, called and threatened my staff and now ur lawyer friends sending me letter. What u think I am 5 yrs old. U really wanna go that way? I promise u then if there is any money I owe u ( as I am not sure yet) u won't see a single penny of it this way. So act smart. And I will sort it out today for u. But pls it s a request hold ur horses they will only harm u. Trust
me.“ Then continued with excuses like “We got robbed of 30K on gunpoint on 21st july. Read the paper. Pepper
sprayed 28K cash was taken. All phones were taken”. He denied the fact that he is trying to “screw me”. I reiterated that he already had by not paying for 3 months – he didn’t seem sympathetic. The conversation continued as he stated
he would pay, and just needed time to do so. Also promised to send stock to assist in some of the balance – the only thing that was received was a broken device that was sold to him months ago that he thought he deserved credit for.
Nothing else was received and no word from him since August 30th. So the next step is to do what I can to warn the rest of the wireless community and post this special post for the world to see.

Now this is not the first time that SN Traders has scammed anyone, including me. I was scammed back in 2006 by the same person, but was able to reconcile differences and continue to do business. This is not a request for sympathy, this is a memo to warn people of SN Traders. Everyone who has ever dealt with SN Traders has had an issue but no one cares about helping
the next victim, or taking the time to post a story about their experience. If you currently deal with SN Traders I urge you to stop. The money you save by purchasing his stolen stock, or his “RB sold as New” stock will end up harming you in the
future. There is nothing anyone can do to collect a balance due by this person. He has signed over his company to his brother, Farid Qureshi, due to government/tax issues. He hasn’t a dime to his name, but yet he still tries to run his wireless scam, SN Traders.

Do your research before you deal with SN Traders. You will end up getting burnt, no matter what kind of advantage you think you have he is always one unethical step ahead.
