Firstly, to address my first impression on the quality of a particular branch of their product line; their new all stainless steel revolvers look and feel as if Leonardo da Vinci himself oversaw production. These are works of art, far exceeding quality expectations of price point. Ruger Firearms' new all stainless steel revolvers are finely made, precision machines that harken back to lost days of the old grandmasters, with the added benefits of modern technology. Somewhere in their quality control management, there’s either a classically trained Swiss watchmaker of some kind of wizard.
As I am into precision, I greatly enjoy precision target shooting. In truth, I am much more discerning than the average customer. I contacted Ruger, via their extremely user friendly web forms, just to ask for a little advice on adjusting the sights of my new Ruger revolver. Are you ready for this: the very next business day, BOTH a customer service rep and the CEO’s assistant called me! WHAT! I was completely shocked!
Not only did they call me, but they both practically insisted that I send my new Ruger back to them for a precision sight alignment! WHAT! Thinks that’s amazing? How about this: they even offered to have the gun picked up, fully serviced to my complete satisfaction and delivered back to me, at no cost whatsoever to me!
Yup. Not done yet. Both insisted on follow-up, they were friendly, fully informative, completely transparent and even entertaining to speak with! Compare that with the ulcer inducing phone menus, e-mail / voice messages that are never returned and the completely uninformed, uncaring customer service reps of many other companies.
Let’s be honest, we’re all product savvy (you are obviously doing some extensive product research here), there are some more interesting, exotic offerings out there. However, in regards to new stainless steel revolvers, if you want zero aggravation, a lot more quality than you’re paying for and customer service that’s beyond reproach, it’s simple, buy a Ruger (your great-great-grandchildren will thank you)."
