"Lied to by the operator. We wanted to reserve a room at a chain hotel which they service. The rate was high and when asked if they were the hotel desk they said yes and turned on the pressure tactics. "These are our rates, I can't make any adjustments. Inflation has hit us all". Given we were on the road at the time talking on the phone, we felt we had no choice in the matter and went ahead. Should have known better. The desk clerk at the hotel advised we did get taken and given they were a legitimate company, they couldn't do anything about the rate. They also advised they have had nothing but trouble with this company. They hotel did do right by us in other ways. very grateful. Word of advice, stay away from this booking site and know who you are dealing with. We thought we did but the flat out lied about who they were. "
"I would give a minus review if I could. I got scammed. They changed me $750 for a 2 night stay at a hotel. When I directly called the hotel the rate was $525 for same nights. I called for a refund next morning and was told I would have a penalty of one night’ s fee. The reservation was 6 weeks away."
