"Planned to order guitar from Rockstar Music Supply. Requested photos of actual guitar I was purchasing. Agreed to purchase guitar after seeing photos. Guitar took almost 3 weeks to arrive although should have arrived within a week and a half. Company responded to NO requests as to why delivery was taking so long after payment had been made and accepted. Once guitar was received, I realized that it was not the guitar from pictures and was also scratched and dinged up pretty badly. Jordan, the owner of the company, sent me an email saying the guitar they were sending me was in perfect condition and had NO problems. I sent pictures back to him showing that the guitar was damaged and also not the same guitar he sent me pictures of (different wood grain and scratches, etc). He told me there must have been a mistake in shipping and that it was unacceptable to him and that he wanted to make it up to me. The guitar played fine but just didn't look good. I told him that it would be too much of a hassle to "re-package" the guitar and send it back so if he could do "something" for me, maybe that would "fix" the problem. I requested that he take care of a guitar case for me....his response was giving me a case at cost....and now I haven't heard from him in two months. Needles to say that I've already purchased a guitar case. I've sent upwards of 10 emails requesting some kind of response in that time period. Their company has also canceled, somehow, two different accounts I had with their company so I cannot communicate with them at all or claim my bonus bucks (if I wanted to). I have finally requested some sort percentage refund since I received the wrong guitar and a damaged one at that and still have received no reply. I would just like some acknowledgment to this problem and how they would like to handle it, but they refuse to respond in any way! VERY bad business practice. I would avoid this company! The pain and hassle is not worth the $20 or $30 you'll save. TRUST ME!"

"WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ROCKSTAR MUSIC SUPPLY! I ordered a guitar from them 2nd day air so that I can give it as a birthday gift. It did not arrive until 28 days later. When the guitar finally arrives, it was the wrong guitar that was ordered. The president of the company Jordan Bourland promised to exchange the guitar mailed no additional charge. It's been almost 3 months since the guitar been ordered and I still have not received the correct guitar. I have called and emailed numerous times but get no response from Jordan Bourland or from anyone else. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and they listed them in the BBB Reliability Report as "The company failed to respond either to the consumer or the Bureau to the complaint(s) filed." Now I am out of some money and stuck with a guitar that I have to try and sell on Craig's List. You have been warned! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ROCKSTAR MUSIC SUPPLY!"

"Terrible!! Unfortunately my experience with Rockstar Music Supply is the same as others here. On inital order of a Ukelele in September they told me the order would not be in until first week of October. However they went ahead and charged my credit card in full for the order which I thought was a bit strange.

When early October came and went I emailed several times without any response. I then left several voice mails with no response. The phone number goes directly to voicemail. No person ever answers. There is no customer service and they obviously do not care about their customers. I've had to dispute the charge with my credit card company because to date I have still gotten no reponse. Buyer Beware!

"Ordered a ukelele from them a month ago and still haven't received it. I made it clear when I ordered that it was for a birthday present and was hoping to expedite delivery. Never heard from them for a week, other than the initial confirmation. Emailed them after a week and they said that the ukelele was backordered, and that they didn't know why I had not been notified of such. They said that it would be available sometime between Oct. 1 - 18 -- to late for using it as a birthday present, but I figured I would go ahead and make it an Xmas present. That was the last communication I received from them.

I have emailed them four more times re: the order status and have received no reply. The timeframe they gave me for sending the ukelele has come and gone. I am very disappointed in their lack of response and overall customer service. I'm pretty patient, but come on -- you can't even respond with a two-line email to make your customer feel like you care?

"Horrible. My initial experience with checkout was good. However, my order has not shipped and their customer service is non-existent. I have emailed and every time I have called their mailbox is full. Very fishy! I am going to put a stop payment on my order"

"My experience with this order was not very good. I had to make several follow-up calls, due to problems with the web site's failure to document my order and lack of updates once it was corrected. The order did not ship until I got involved. When it did arrive I found that the banjo was not setup, and had no instructions on how to install the bridge. I expected it to come with a case, as advertised by other merchants, but there was no case. The money I thought I saved over the other merchants will, not even cover the cost of a case. On a five star rating I would give my experience only one star."

"The bridge lifted on this guitar, so I contacted RSMS to see if the instrument was still under warranty by them or the manufacturer. I've sent 2 emails and I haven't heard from them since. Original post is below.
------
I didn't find out that the guitar I ordered was on back order until about a week after I placed the order. The order was made on 8/18, and I received the guitar today, 9/2. Rockstar Supply was pretty good about it though, and the guitar ended up shipping in a blem-hardshell case (which was not included in the sale price), so that was nice of them. I also think they expedited shipping to get it to me faster.
