"This is the first time ordering from this site, as I usually order anime form Rightstuf and Amazon. In this instance, I was looking for a certain out of print manga and Robert's seemed to have it in stock. I'd been burned before with retailers stating that they have an item, only to have the order canceled later on, but in this case I was a little desperate so decided to give it a shot. I was delighted to find out that they actually DID have it in stock, and even shipped it sealed inside of plastic within the shipping box (unlike a certain time I ordered from Amazon when they threw the book in a bag and it arrived all beat up). "This was my first time purchasing from this vendor and the first time ordering Anime. Prices were competitive. On top of that, what I wanted were in stock! Service is super fast. I ordered on a Sunday and got the items on Weds! I live in MA.
But there was a problem. The supplier of one of the DVDs I ordered had put the wrong DVD into the box and the insert was missing. An e-mail to Robert's Anime Corner Store late at night elicited a response the next morning saying they weren't surprised to hear that. A replacement was sent the next day with them checking it before it was shipped.
Even though the original seemed to be wrapped up but with evidence of tampering, the replacement had the wrappers all removed. The correct DVD and insert were there. No evidence of being used. A prepaid mailer was sent along so I didn't have to pay for any additional return postage.
There are many things that went right with this experience. While I could find a slightly cheaper price for the DVDs I wanted, nobody had them in stock and nobody I saw had the selection they have. Their philosophy is impressive and they easily proved it. They have a very fair shipping cost through UPS. Super fast turnaround and on top of that, they back up their purchases. They impressed me with the kind of response and service to fix any problems I may have had. I will definitely shop with them again."
"The prices for anime where significantly below competitors (21.98 opposed to 26.98, MSRP 29.99). The order was made on a Monday and Arrived Wednesday morning, and the shipping was only 8.99 flat rate.

"I was realy impressed with the site design, A+ there. Good Shipping time from WV to ID in about one week on the ground was pretty good. I was surprised to see a frigile sticker on the box.
I tested several thing out, the free shipping, how a art box set would come through, how a box set would, and a regular disk. All came through with out any damage and had good packing. All in all, a Very Good experience"
