Sold me a bike that burnt to the ground.

"I purchased a used BMW motorcycle from ridenow Chandler, and with less then 500 miles and 3 weeks of ownership the bike caught fire and burnt to the ground. After over 20 year's of riding I've never seen anything like this.
I paid cash for the bike, and when I contacted the sales manager I received the run around for a week, finally got to talk to the G.M. Aric Muse and got nothing from him but his mouth moving telling me "his team did everything that he expected them to do" offering nothing in reimbursement or even a apology for what happened, only we would love to put you in another motorcycle. Like I would put my life in there hands again.
Never buy from ridenow! Never use the service department at ridenow if you value your life!!!!

"I don’t know what kind of phonies are writing reviews on the cuff for this place, but let me simply state the facts and let them speak for themselves.
I find a bike I like on Cycle Trader and go in to make the purchase. The bikes like $5,700.00. After asking several times about the source of the bike and how they obtained it, they simply would change the subject and not make any effort to ask a supervisor or manager to look up the information. Just the standard sales BS. Then the kid pitches me about their 27 point inspection, and how the bike must be solid and dependable, or they wouldn’t have accepted it on a trade. (Yeah, right. Curley knows they lowball everyone, and could care less about its condition if they are making it up on the other end.) Anyway, I crank it up and it gags a little. I make the comment that its rough, and the guy says, “It’s the air filter,” and sticks his finger in the aftermarket blower type hole and removes some crud. “They must have missed the air filter in the 27 point inspection” I said. It sounded feasible, so I jump through the appropriate hoops and buy the bike. It was a Sunday, so I had to wait until the next day for credit approval. No one ever called me back. At 5 PM Monday, I call the finance stooge, and he says he has good news and bad news. The good news is I was approved, and the bad news is they sold my bike. Then I find another one, and try to call them back, and get put on hold 3 times for at least 30 minutes each. Each time I call back I get a different guy, who asks the same questions as before, and puts me on hold again. I saw the writing on the wall, and will do no business with any powersports operation or any affiliate. They are just a bunch of clowns who say anything, pass the buck, and have the integrity of an alley cat in heat.

"My son asked for a pair of Fox goggles for Christmas. I couldn't find any locally so turned to the internet. I found a set at ridenow.com for what I thought was a decent price and placed my order on 12/13, fully expecting to receive them by Christmas. I received an email on 12/15 telling me that my order would be shipped in 4-7 days. On 12/23 I had not received the goggles and emailed the company to find out what was going on. I left for the afternoon and when I had returned home, I found they had left me a message on the answering machine, stating what I had purchased, therefore letting my son know I had ordered them for him, and that the goggles had been out of stock and would be shipped on the 24th, BUT for an additional $52 they could overnight them to me. Now, no where in my original email from the company did it say that the goggles were out of stock or I would have ordered them elsewhere!

I received shipping confirmation and a UPS tracking number on the 24th, yet UPS shows that they did not receive the goggles until the 29th. I JUST received these goggles on 1/8/09.

Very poor customer service and very slow shipping. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

"I was skeptical after reading the negative review, but took the risk since these guys had a great clearance price on some full-finger mtb gloves. I got a confirmation email immediately and then next business day the order shipped. I received an email with tracking number and the order arrived well-packaged and as-ordered. I couldn't expect any more from an online store."

"I buy a lot of stuff online, recently friends and I were talking about fixing up our 3 and 4 wheelers. I looked around and found RideNow.com. They had decent prices(i found cheaper) but looked very professional and like less of a scam than other cheaper places. I told my friends about it and we decided since none of us have dealt with them before that i would be the one to place a test order with them. The online ordering went OK, I received an email with my copy of the receipt and Was told i would hear back the next day when to expect my order. The next day i received an email saying my parts would ship in 2 - 3 days. A week goes by and no parts so I call them and ask them about the status of my order, i was told they shipped that day and I would receive the order on the 30th of May. I asked why so long the girl on the phone just laughed and said she had no idea. I did receive my stuff on the 29th of May. Everything was as described. I will not be ordering again from RideNow.com as they are too slow. I order a lot of computer parts from Newegg so i know what to expect when ordering online. This was one of the worst online buying experiences I have had. I know it doesn't sound bad as it was all OK in the end but i would prefer to deal with people who aren't so slow. Where customer service doesn't just laugh when you ask what was taking so long."
