"I stopped at the dealership to order parts over the weekend for a vehicle purchases through Hendricks recently. As I went to purchase the parts I was told it would cost almost 25% more to purchase it through Hendricks at the counter than what I saw through their online dealer page.

While I understand there are sometimes instances where there is a different price online than through a direct purchase at the counter it doesn’t make sense to me why Hendricks doesn’t just honor the price they advertise online if a customer brings it up.

It just turns a neutral interaction into a negative one when the customer has to go back to the dealership to pick up the same exact in stock part they could have bought at the counter and simply match the price. "
