"Bought a Palm m130 from their site on a Thursday. Item was delivered to my door on a Tuesday, so I am very happy with their shipping. Packaging was excellent. The item came in the original box with everything inside except the manual (this was stated up front). I can download the manual from the Palm site if I need to. This was what they call a "unique" item and was described as "like new." I have thoroughly looked it over and can't find a think wrong with it. I am 100% satisifed with my purchase and can't believe I saved over $80!!"

"I, too, bought an Olympus 4040 from ReturnBuy's new site. I'm quite pleased with it, and with the service. About the noisy zoom, um, they all do that. It's a well-known issue with this camera, but doesn't seem to be a defect.

PROS:

- The price.

- The description of the item was dead on.

- The camera was well packed in a large box with expensive foam-in-place packing.

- The item was shipped the next day, and I was promptly sent the UPS tracking number.

- My questions were quickly answered by e-mail.

- Did I mention the price?

CONS:

- No telephone support that I could find, toll-free or otherwise.

- One purchases an item based on its description, but the description is not displayed on the invoice. There isn't even a link back to the original description. This is a serious flaw in their order processing, and I imagine it could lead to real headaches if there were a dispute.

I had previously purchased a couple of PDA's from this company's eBay store, and had good luck with them there, as well.

"I bought an Olympus C-4040 for $370.00. The item was rated "Unique" and I went through all Unique listed ones on the site to find one that seemed perfect. It lacked only the batteries. Shipping was slow UPS Ground but Returnbuy paid for it.
I tracked the shipping on the web. The parcel got to town on 11/26 at 5:02pm, I called UPS to hold at 5:25pm. They won't do that. (Fedex does) The rep stated they have to attempt at least one delivery even if nobody is home. (Someone make sense of this one to me)
I could have been at their location in ten minutes... After the missed delivery attempt on 11/27 I followed the truck at night, traced down and still got parcel before Thanksgiving. (The UPS part is not Returnbuy's fault and I don't hold it against them, I'm just posting it for info)It would be better if they used another shipper though.
Got home. It came packaged well, the camera looked great and had everything stated. I thought wow! Great price, great product!
The MAJOR disappointment came when I put in batteries and turned it on. A GRINDING noise (not noisy, um)) when the lens extended on power-up.. Also sometimes noise at a lower volume when the camera is already on. It is just a question of time when the mechanism will die completely. A MAJOR defect, this camera should never have been shipped.
I truly do not understand how this could have been overlooked. The camera even vibrated slightly on poer-up. The webpage had stated functional.
I shipped it back and I'm waiting for Returnbuy to get the return, process it and get my money back. I'll still loose 1/2 the return shipping money. I have to question the competence of some of Returnbuy's staff. All in all a big waste of time and a real let down.

"Bought a Netgear ISDN router through ebay from them. While the router was an S/T interface, and wasn't stated in the auction description as such, a NT1 only cost me $4 shipped from another ebay seller. Item was refurbished but arrived quickly and was in like new shape with all software, manuals, cables, etc.

After a week or so the router gave up... Wouldn't power on at all. I contacted ReturnBuy about how to go about using the 30 day warranty. Instead of major headaches, they just refunded my money no other questions asked. I'll definitely consider them for future purchases including the replacement for this router.

"This is an Ebay Store but obviously you can direct from thier website although they sell cheaper through thier ebay store.

They mention in the ad "This item has some very minor scratches/scuff marks, but is in overall good cosmetic condition".
That statement was untrue, the condition was in Mint condition, unless you think of a hairline scratch that took 20 minutes to find a 'scratch'. I've bought several items from them since and was pleasantly surprised each time. Excellent store to buy from. If they have it, don't buy it from anyone else.
