"I placed an order on a Sunday and it shipped Monday via UPS Ground. This is kinda like the old Big Lots. There are some really good deals if you look around. I bought an older version of Hummingbird exceed (Win9x compatible, not very 2k compatible) for $30, where it retails for $300. For the $270 of savings, I'll install Win98 on an old computer to use it. Sure, the box was a little beat up but the contents were fine and everything worked as advertised. Anyways, the beat-up box didn't surprise me since it might have been stored away in a warehouse for a while yet never touched. So if you want some expensive software but don't mind an older version, I suggest looking around at their store."
"I purchased a used copy of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. The package arived VERY promptly, in excelent condition, well packaged, and the CDs were in perfect condition as well as the manual. The CD case (one of those fat 3 or 4 disc types) was very slightly cracked as is to be expected when purchasing used software, but it was the original case with all the original inserts in very good condition. Oh, and the price was UNBEATABLE. Most places would have charged MUCH more for such a current game.

"I have to say that this firm is a complete pleasure to do business with! I recently sold them some unused software titles and they made it very easy. First, they have a small-town friendliness to the way they do business. Second, they pay exceptional prices for used titles. Some of the titles I shipped they could not use, but they emailed within a week of getting the shipment and gave me the option of having the CDs shipped back for $6, deductible from the total for the other software. If regular mail makes this whole process a bit slow, the speed and amiableness on Retrosoftware's end more than makes up for it. I really encourage people to check out their site before spending money at a retail chain store.
