"I received services on my 2019 BMW 430i Gran Coupe.

I had issues with my coolant leaking and had an appointment on 2/24/24 for a coolant leak diagnosis. During that diagnosis I was told that I needed to have my oil filter housing replaced. It was also recommended that I get my oil cooler and coolant lines repaired since they would be disturbed. I was then told I would also an oil change because I would need more oil since this process would remove existing oil.

I was quoted one price, and then 2 days later received an updated quote that was almost $500 more and listed a full synthetic oil change as a service as well.

I proceeded with scheduling the service and was pushed out a week because they said this would be an almost 9 hour job. My card was charged a deposit. My appt was scheduled for 3/4/24 from 8am EST - 1pm EST. Around 11am, I had not received an update, but I noticed that the service details stated that my service had been completed. I called to inquire about why it was saying completed and to ask if a tech had been dispatched. My card was charged at 12pm without my permission for over $2200 before the service had even begun.

The tech showed up slightly after 12pm EST. The service was not completed until 9:30PM EST. It was completely pitch black outside so I'm not sure how he was able to put everything together under the hood. When the tech confirmed he was done at 9:30 pm and had just topped off the oil and coolant (which I see I had additional charges for more quarts of oil than was on the quote), I asked why there was a huge puddle of fresh oil under my car. He took a look under the hood and said there was nothing wrong and my car was good to go. This was strange considering there was a LARGE puddle of oil under my car as soon as he poured the oil in.

This morning, I noticed more fresh oil. I drove up the street and back and could smell oil. I intentionally parked in a new spot to see if more oil would leak — it was another puddle and dripping from the bottom of my car as I attempted to drive back up the street. As soon as I pulled out of my complex, I received a warning message that mentioned I had no oil and to pull my car over to avoid damage to the engine.

I immediately called customer service to inform them and they and the dispatch team were no help. I was told that I would be charged $75 for them to come check the car, and that it would be a day and a half before someone could get to me. Completely UNACCEPTABLE! My services had already been paid in full -even before the service was completed. And to be told I'm going to be charged when I inquired about this puddle of oil before the tech left is ridiculous! This has completely inconvenienced me when I could've gotten serviced somewhere else! There was a week delay in getting the service done, and the service I received was faulty and I'm having to wait 2 additional days and be charged a fee?!

This has inconvenienced my work schedule, my personal schedule, has costed me much more than the services for the car as I’ve had to get deliveries and make other travel arrangements; and it has also impacted my child's school schedule and I expect some type of accommodation to be made to get my car corrected. I should not be paying anything else for this awful service that I have received.
