"I made a small order to test the waters and make sure the shipping was timely. Since then I've made two additional orders, each order taking less than a week to get sent out. This is excellent considering how many other companies are saying minimum 4-5 weeks or in some cases 12-16 weeks to ship 'In Stock' items. I was pleased with the prices and the quick turnover. The site clearly shows when items are in and allows you to be notified when they receive stock which is a big plus."

"Prices were great and they actually had, in stock, the Mossberrg 930 I was looking for. They were courteous and helpful during the order, but they are different than most online dealers. First, before you can order a gun, they want to make sure you are who you say you are even though you still have to go through a local FFL to take possession (had to send a copy of my license and answer some questions). Second, they take 3-5 days to get the items shipped out ('processing' time).

As we all know, the new liberal troika has lead to a huge panic in firearms sales, so you can imagine that when I discovered a semi-auto shotgun at a normal price ($480 with 2 barrels and 3 chokes), I jumped on it. I was worried that the 8 remaining in stock would sell out before I was allowed to place an order (they did sell out in just 2 days). Fortunately I was able to order before they were out of stock. (This was a one-time submission; now I can order immediately).

However, be forewarned that they do tend to drop the ball quite a bit. My shotguns were supposed to come with two extra (3 total) choke tubes, but none of the three did. This was possibly a manufacturer's oversight, but it could have been light hands in the shipping department. I called three times over 6 business days, and each time I was told they would take care of it, but I'm still waiting for a resolution. Hopefully soon.

Shipping for UPS Ground was less than $33 for all three shotguns, so I was well pleased with that part.

So, if you want a great deal on a firearm and can put up with delays along the way, and friendly but mediocre customer service, R&R Arms is at least one place to check before you buy. If they resolve the problem I'm having, R&R will be the first place I check from then on.

"I ordered a handgun from R&R Arms 1-28-09. Found out it'd take "3-5 days" to "fill out the forms" to ship the gun to my local FFL guy. After 2-3 days thinking about that suspicious response, I decided that was too long (and unbelievable) to fill out simple forms, decided their shipping ($42.xx) also was too high, and they gave me no further explanation why it'd take 3-5 days (no, they did NOT EVER say they were swamped with orders or behind, just the part about filling out the forms taking 3-5 days).

So I called back and cancelled the order on 1-30-09 and asked for a credit to my VISA card.

It is now 2-12-09, and R&R Arms says -- after MANY PHONE CALLS TO THEM AS WELL AS E-MAILS (which I shouldn't have had to do in the first place, check on people so often) -- they DID send in the credit 2-10-09, but Chase/VISA says NO such credit was ever received and Chase checked each time I contacted them over the last week via e-mail and phone calls.

So because R&R Arms says they DID send in the credit, but Chase/VISA says NOTHING has been sent to them as of this date 2-12-09, this issue is now in DISPUTE -- or else I am out almost 3 big ones -- and Chase will investigate this matter with R&R Arms.

I will say that the people at R&R Arms seem to be friendly, nice people to deal with, so I can not understand why my money is not to be found...so I have no explanation. I can't say R&R Arms is ripping me off, either deliberately or through sloppiness/incompetence -- or my credit "sent" to Chase/NISA didn't get through/got lost in cyberspace for some reason -- all I DO know is 13 days after the order was cancelled, and STILL do not have my credit/refund "done" by R&R Arms. Consequently, rather than letting more time pass with probably the same zero results, I was forced to dispute the purchase with Chase today (2-12-09) because it seems to be a dead-end with R&R Arms, saying they DID the refund already.

If they did, then why, after 13 days, is it not showing up on my online Chase account? No, Chase says they ARE NOT "witholding" any credits due me and claim some venders use the banks as scapegoats by saying that...Chase says they did NOT GET any credit from R&R Arms as of today, 2-12-09.

So you, the reader, resarching here whether you should buy something from R&R Arms or not, YOU decide whether you should or not. But at this point, I'd say NO, do not, because I am warning everyone reading this that if they need a refund, this same thing might happen to them.

If anything comes up to what REALLY happened here - WTH my money is -- I will come back and do an update, but right now, I never got my money back from R&R Arms...it is Chase who is giving me that $$ credit to my account and then they will take the matter up with R&R Arms.

What an unpleasant experience...beware!

EDIT (2-0-27-09): 2-3 days after I got Chase/VISA involved with this, a full credit from R&R Arms appeared in my Chase/VISA online account info. I still do not know why the delay in R&R Arms processing the refund and why it took so long to appear (post) in my Chase account, but it DID arrive (and so Chase then debited back (reversed) their earlier credit to ME). So maybe it was just sloppy prcessing at R&R Arms rather than just "Tom Foolery" but if so, they need to do MUCH better keeping on top of things since when you're the one going through it, it's not funny at all. Would I order fromt them again? If they get their act together, MAYBE.
