Wish I could give no stars

"Ordered a pair of wiley x glasses from them single vision on 29 dec finally arrived with overnight shipping on jan 21 these glasses are horrible the only area my prescription is correct is bottom of frames when I tried to get this rectified their response was send them back at your cost if prescription is incorrect we will only refund cost of frames terrible company"

Scammers

"Ordered a pair of safety glasses from them, sent them a copy of my prescription. TWICE the order came to me and TWICE it was regular safety glasses with no prescription. So finally I had enough. I asked for a refund and was told all I could get was a credit for the frame not the so called prescription. A total scam. Do not use this company . I filed a complaint with better business."

slow with poor product description

"32 days from order to delivery
Would have been 1 star but great packaging.
'Driver wear' lens package was not explained to be daytime use only plus the glasses feel like 3d glasses for a movie and gave me a headache within 15 minutes of having them on - weird colors and popping edges. Maybe you have to be into drugs to enjoy them.

Poor Quality, Poor Service. STAY AWAY

"My company ordered 2 pairs from them...one pair was fine, not great, but acceptable. The other pair was so far off that my employee couldn't see out of them. The arms were bent, and the prescription was way off. We paid return shipping, and they told me that they made the lenses wrong. RX-optical then tried to get me to pay an additional 50% for them to fix!

I'm never dealing with them again, and encourage you not to as well.

"I ordered my prescription glasses on December, 9 2019. I have not received my glasses. I emailed the company, and they told me that they were having issues in the lab. This will be the last time I ever use them. "

Absolutely the worst

"This company is absolutely the worst company to deal with. Thay made me a set of lenses for my glasses and made the wrong prescription and when I pointed it out to them they would not make good on the lenses. So I was stuck with a pair of glasses I couldn't use. Run like the devil is chasing you if you are looking for a reputable company. "

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

"I hardly ever decide to slam a product or merchant in an online review. This has taken months, but I've reached the point of no return.

Last summer, I wanted to buy a filter for my camera to shoot the partial eclipse. I ordered TWO business days before the cutoff date they had posted to their website. I even spoke to a woman on the phone and made it clear to her that I was ordering FOR THE ECLIPSE. She said they were taking extra steps to make sure everyone would get glasses or filters on time. I did not receive the filter, even though it would have only required UPS ground shipment - I am in the same UPS zone as their warehouse.

Imagine my shock about 3 days AFTER the eclipse when I get an email saying "shipping pending". I immediately email them to say "Do not send the item, I no longer need it." No response. I tried to call and was put on indefinite hold. Finally, TEN FULL DAYS after the eclipse, the item arrives!

All described so far, would be one of my worse experiences in 20 years of online shopping! But, I'm a nice guy! At this I was willing to just say, 'ok, this is a small company that made some bad decisions, obviously I will never order from them again...not really worth posting a review because other people were probably screwed too, and will do so.' So you can imagine how it made my blood boil this morning to get a reply email from the person I'd previous emailed at this company, that was an MS word attachment trojan! THESE IDIOTS CAN'T EVEN KEEP THEIR EMAIL SYSTEM SAFE!!!!! Again, in over 20 years of online product ordering, from at least 100 different companies, I have NEVER gotten a trojan/virus email virus from a web merchant. Never! Ever! I've gotten them from a handful of personal accounts of people who are not careful about protecting their machines, as would be expected.

Moral of the story, STAY AWAY from this company.

Customer service

"I order glasses, and after 3 weeks, had not heard anything. Finally, I contacted the company, only to be informed that glasses could not be made to my measurements, and there were no other options. I then asked for a refund, and, 3 more weeks later, I still have not received my money back. I have never dealt with such an inefficient and poorly run company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!"

Unusable Garbage, refuses to fix

"$191.50 for absolute garbage. These glasses are only clear in the very center and on the bifocal part, the upper half and outsides are so blurry you can't use them. I have been calling for over a week straight with no answer and no calls returned. I wish I would have checked this site before ordering, because obviously this is just the way they do business.

On the plus side, they are very quick to take your original order and send you the useless garbage.

Worst online purchase ever

"Sure their customer service is speedy and friendly but as a Canadian customer I have never ever had to pay EVEN MORE taxes ontop of what RX safety charged me. I ended up paying over $100 CAD for taxes and shipping, for a pair of glasses? Oh and when I asked them about it they played the "it is stated in our shipping section that we are no responsible for bla bla" so great, no responsibility for them! This company IS A JOKE!

"This website was very dissatisfactory the product was extremely expensive so I figured if I'm paying that much money I get some quality but through the whole check out process NO where does it disclaim that prescription glasses will take 10 days to be processed and then shipped I selected 2 day shipping expecting them to be shipped in 2 days I understand that it will take time to make the glasses but NO where does it disclose that it will take 10 days to make and then be shipped through the whole check out process now they have it listed in other places but nowhere obvious."

"Terrible customer service. I ordered prescription safety glasses on July 24th. On August 4th I checked the status and was told the lenses failed quality control and had to be restarted. They would let me know when the item shipped. I followed up again Aug 19th and was told there is no update in the system, the order would be upgraded to next day air shipping, and the supervisor had been notified. Aug 26th I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. Aug 27th I tried to follow up on the refund, no reply. The glasses were shipped Aug 31st (ups ground). "

"I live in Canada and order a lot of stuff online from the US and other countries, however this is the first time I was called by the shipper that RX safety used and was told I needed to pay an additional estimated $58 as a customs brokerage fee. I called RX safety about this and while the customer service rep. was nice and tried, her manager told her that it was between UPS and the Canadian government. I call B.S. if you are in the business of shipping online you should work out these kinks or at least let people know VERY CLEARLY about them (I'm sure there may have been something in the fine print about this, but I'm also sure I'm not the only one who doesn't spend an hour reading a legal document in full every time I make a relatively small purchase). They also refused to let me do a cancellation / full refund. As mentioned, I order a lot online (including glasses) and this is a first. Somehow all the other companies I've used have been able to work out a better system. "

"Very poor customer service. Rude, unprofessional behavior. Promised follow-up never received. Took well over a month to receive the glasses with no explanations when asked when I might receive the order. Find another company to spend your hard earned cash. I should have listened to the negatives about this company... Glasses are ok, but I see a line in my vision with progressive lenes?? Can't even imagine dealing with a return. Expensive lesson learned!

"I just received my glasses and they are exactly what I hoped they would be. I am extremely happy. The process time took a couple of days longer than expressed on the site but the customer service staff was accessible and polite through the entire process and the end result was definitely worth the slight delay. "
