Wouldn’t Honor warranty

"Honor warranty: two yrs after new trailer, decals on my Grand Design started cracking and faded out miserably. Trailer was stored under cover out of sun. They refused to honor it saying they didn’t cover front caps and rear caps. Coding is worthless. Brother-in-law’s trailer without it surviving much better and it’s in the sun."

"Sounds like this guy's a professional con artist. I just got nicked for nearly $700. I waited for product delivery, nothing. When I emailed him and asked where my product was, all I got was "cancelled." When I asked for a refund and suggested that the product I ordered should probably be removed from his site, this was his email back to me, word-for-word:

"Screw off!

Maybe you should have checked before you just decided to buy with checking first??? I guess your assumption was correct.

I bet that happens often.

Have a good day."

I'm reporting him to the state attorney general of his site's owner's state (CPPG, Inc.). I suggest you do the same and GET THE CHARGES REVERSED ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. This guy is BAD NEWS.

These and other websites Scott Stevens owns, operates and uses as a deceptive vehicle to scam consumers out of their hard earned money. Scott Stevens stole $680 from me on 06/12/2006, for a (worthless) 7 year extended warranty. He fraudulently created a Marathon Insurance Policy, including a fictitious policy number, sent it to me, complete with Marathon Insurance (fraudulent) letterhead and envelope. Looked legit, until I needed to have some repair work done on my Harley Davidson FLTRI. Called Marathon Insurance, gave them the policy number, was informed the policy number I had didn't even come close to the policy numbers they issue. They asked me to FAX over all the doc's I had. Nick in the fraud department promptly called me back, informed my that Scott Stevens (aka CycleWarranty.com) had done this scam numerous times to other unsuspecting consumers. He asked me to report this crime to my local Law Enforcement, Scott Stevens local Law Enforcement and the FBI, and he and Marathon Insurance would gladly testify in my behalf.

"Scott, the owner, is, IN MY OPINON, dishonest. He said he had something in stock that he didn't and couldn't ship, he lied to me about it when I called him and he was unreal rude.

As others have noted, I received psychotic emails with poor gramar and oddly (or not, perhaps), he kept bringing up God in his notes to me, too!

This business is not honest, not fair, not professional and to be avoided at all costs.

"I have had RV insurance through RVProtection.net for 5 years with no claims. I sold my RV and have been trying to cancel my policy for over 2 months. Phone calls are never returned. Scott always makes it clear you are bothering him and is rude. My last call to Scott was to ensure he received and submitted my cancellation. He told me to call the insurance company directly and when I, for the first time, got a little upset about not being told this two months prior, he hung up on me mid-sentence.

I have seen good reviews on for RVProtection.net - but these are almost all folks who have never made any claims. Yes, Scott is lovely when you are signing a contract. Now, try to get him to fulfill a request....his customer service is non-existent. I recommend that you avoid doing business with Scott and his company. There are many other good options out there... find them.

"My order was paid for through American Express $2765.64 on 25 September 2009. No product available, back-ordered one month delay - 5 times. Still no product, so Order CANCELLED on 30 March 2010 ... 21 April 2010 still no refund. American Express will not reverse-charge after 60 days. Suggest obtaining an availability and delivery date before ordering anything.
In this case the product (solar panels) really is in short supply world-wide, no other supplier had them either, but I question the process of charging the customer in 1 day but take over a month to do a refund.

"this guy is ridiculous, There was a problem with a description of a product on his website so I called to calmly inquire and he instantly resorts to "i have proof this is what you ordered you can't change your order". So basically customer service doesn't exist here. Make sure you read past all the copied and pasted text and get to the text that actually pertains to that particular product because between the half assed website production, and the half assed "customer service" you'll have ZERO room for error."

"I ordered from RV Protection products in Jan of 2009. The item was delayed several times and after contacting the company I was told in a very rude way that it was "on the way". I used our company credit card to pay for the order and because of the delay the charge was disputed as unrecognized by clerical staff. I received the following from Scott via email:
"You got serious problems if you think you can get away with this fraud attempt.

Your disputing your charge is not only unethical, but criminal.

You don't want to mess with me as I run a webhosting company and over 100 websites.

Reverse this dispute at once!"

WOW was I surprised that this guy would be dumb enough to threaten me in an email. Turned it over to corporate attorney and we will see what happens.

"I have never in my online purchases experienced a worse purchase. This guy is the nastiest person I have ever encountered.
I purchased 3 items from his website rvfunproducts.com a Napier SUV Tent , a inflatable mattress and a floor pad for the tent.
On July 7th I contacted him saying the Tent never arrived ($247.93). He said at first it was on the way but later responded that Napier never got the order but it was fixed and would arrived within a month (backorder). Its July 23rd, I call up to see how much longer it will be. There is NO RECORD AT ALL of him placing a new PO for the tent. I email him that afternoon but do not hear anything till the 24th. In the meantime I submit a paypal claim to get the tent money back since it was getting close to the limit to submit a claim.
This guy was Livid that I submitted the claim.
The nasty email I recieved was beyond anything I have ever gotten. The last email I got from him was YOUR MOTHER B*TCH. Nice way to get customers.
I did get my refund today though.

This company lost my order, and after a few weeks of trying to get an update, I finally got ahold of the owner on the phone and he was very very rude, using very vulgar language, threatening to physically harm me and my family, spoke very vividly about my mother, called me numerous vulgar names, hung up on me. Very unprofessional place to do any business. Basically this person / company had all my personal information like my home address, credit card number, phone number ect ect, then never followed through on his end of the order. and even threatened physical harm on me and my loved ones. Consider this fair warning! STAY AWAY
