"This company is a grey market company. They are rude, and lie about their products. I'm guessing that they are the same as Broadway Photo, as their address is the same. Unless the address is a fulfillment business for a number of companies.

My experience:
I purchased a Nikon D80 and a Nikon lens (18-70mm) from them, asked for overnight delivery. I specifically asked about this camera being a US market camera, not an import. I was told that they DO sell imported "grey market" cameras, but that for $50 more I would get the US model with US warranty. The imported cameras don't come with the Nikon warranty, but come with their own company warranty (quite a difference, I'm sure).

I reiterated at least a few times about a previous experience with getting an imported camera, and they assured me that I would be able to register the camera with Nikon with active Nikon warranty.

I paid $700+ for this camera, which sells online at other "respected" sellers for $874. I figured that price wasn't outrageously low, so it might be real... meaning that "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" wouldn't apply.

So I placed the order, camera and one lens, no other accessories that I would "need", according to the sales guy on the phone, and got the camera when expected a day and a half later.

Unpacked the box, called Nikon via their website contact #, and tried to register camera and lens online with serial #s. Lens was good, camera was not. The camera is indeed a grey market camera, and the serial # was not recognized by their system. It was NOT a camera that comes with a warranty for a US consumer.

One might argue that in a year (warranty period), nothing will likely go wrong with the camera. Maybe true, but:
1) why did I pay $50 MORE for the "US model"
2) I could get this grey market version for much cheaper at other online grey market dealers
3)they outright lied to me about their product, even when I asked the point blank questions

I'm returning this camera, disputing the charges with my credit card company, and getting every cent of my money back, including shipping.

I wasted my time with these f'ing idiots, amongst the rest of the BS, and principles DO matter. If I want a grey market camera, I'll buy it from some other idiots for half the cost of this one.

I don't recommend buying from this company at all, unless you're buying for 50% the going rate, and the tradeoff is worth it.

A couple weeks ago I bought a JVC HD GZ7 video camera from the company I mentioned above, and got a camera with Chinese writing on all the buttons. It was obviously not a US model video camera, and I returned it. Thought I was avoiding that same experience when I asked specifically when buying THIS camera."

"Was looking for a Canon 70-200 f/4.0 L USM lens and found the best price at Quest4Cameras. Paid the extra $41.60 for "Overnight" shipping. Then I get an email stating that it won't ship for 2 days for processing. Then yet another email ststing that they won't process the order until I call. So I called and only got put on hold, after 10 minutes on hold I hung up and tried 6 more times each with only getting put on hold or sent off to voice mail. I left messages but no answer back from them. By this time I was getting a little up set as thinking that I have been yet ripped off by another on line seller. Tried one more time to get through and as the person started to say "Hold on" I yelled to get his attention, then he ask what I wanted, said the order was being process and I should have it by Tuesday of next week (the 21th) now that is a far cry from "OVERNIGHT" shipping. So if you are thinking of purchasing something from "Quset4Cameras" think again and "DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING AS IT IS'T REAL THERE IS NO OVERNIGHT SHIPPING WITH THESE GUYS."

"Since they are in NY I called to order a refurb 5D Canon Camera instead of ordering online. No one else seemed to selling refurbs of the 5D and I wanted it as a spare. Well, the BS started right away. Everything from the Refurb battery will only work for 20-30 shots
They offered a special high capacity battery normally $299, but on special for $199 and the better then Canon quality battery gives cleaner pictures?
