can't get Green Source

"I'm sort of upset with Puritan's Pride these days. Some time ago I found that the company will ship Green Source to California because of some stupid state regulation regarding one of its ingredients. I have been purchasing Green Source for years, and this must be some new thing. I can't find the equivalent of this product anywhere else, but if I could I probably wouldn't find the same restriction."

Woman's vitamins/minerals never in stock

"I have purchased from Puritan's Pride for years and years without any issues but lately (the last year) they are constantly out of all types of woman's vitamins. I marked to be notified when back in stock 3 months ago, no notice and still out of stock on their web site. They need to do a better job of sourcing their products and keeping things in stock or I will be going elsewhere. "

They wanted to make it right for MCS customer

"I have enjoyed the quality of Puritans products for a few years now. Because I have MCS, I especially appreciate their fragrance-free warehouse & handling practices which has continued even after the COVID outbreak.

However, after ordering their Vitamin E Cream (in a 3-for-1 deal) I discovered it had a pronounced fragrance. I submitted a complaint. They emailed me, and then called me, basically pursued me to make it right. After taking down the details of the issue, they gave me a full refund. So I have no hesitation in continuing to order from them. They do need to figure out what is going on with that cream, though.

decades

"i have purchased from puritans pride for decades. there was a particular vitamin that i always got. i was taking it longer than i can remember. it was green source. i'm vegan and this line of vitamins is clean. however i havent been able to get them for a long time now. ive had to resort to one of their other brands. i haven felt as good as when i take my regular vits. im hoping that green source will be available next time i shop.
im very happy with their deals. i always check them for vitamins and supplements first. they send things really fast and it is always well packed. i have a good feeling about dealing with them. i feel like they are an honest business.

Customer service clownshow

"Bought from them for years, no problems. My last order never got to me, and I got a major runaround from their offshore "customer service" department. Tried email, came back undeliverable . When I finally got a replacement order coming, I was told that due to California prop 65, they couldn't ship part of my order. Prop 65 was passed in 1986, and they have sent me this for about 25 years. Talked to four "reps" and no one could tell me why. Talk to someone in New York? HA!"

Very bad. Never buy again.

"I purchased 20 bottles for my parents for one year. However, all products are expired in three months and Puritan's refused to issue a refund. Be careful, they may send you the product expired in one month. Bad experience and never buy again."

I have been a loyal customer of Puritan's Pride for about 20 years, NO MORE!

"I have been a loyal customer of Puritan's Pride for about 20 years, NO MORE! On the morning of 4/16/19 I purchased $207.54 worth of vitamins from them on line. Later that afternoon I started receiving overdraft notices from my bank in my email. I pulled up my bank account and they charged me 25 times $207.54 for a total of $5,188.50! I called their so called "customer service" located somewhere in the middle east by their accents. And to make a long story short, I've spent well over 5 frustrating hours on the phone over the past 7 days and still don't have my money back. Their customer service personnel give you nothing but false promises, fake apologizes and massive hold times while accomplishing NOTHING. And forget about ever talking to the same person twice or a supervisor or anybody in the corporate office in NY. That won't happen. They STOLE over $5,000 of my money that I need for day to day expenses and could care less about it. Not only am I DONE with Puritan's Pride but I'm telling everybody and will continue to write reviews everywhere I can, over and over. They should call themselves Puritans Disgrace or Puritans Thieves.

"All a sudden my favorite supplements is slapped with a prop 65 warning? So Im wondering what I've been consuming for years and all the company can tell me is it's the iron content that can be poisonous?? This company doesn't have a clue anymore. "

My ONLY question is this: I can't find an independent source that verifies the content of each item and/or compares it with vitamins and supplements of competitor manufacturers. "

Avoid This Company Like the Plague

"I placed an order with Puritan’s Pride on January 4, 2017. Their website acknowledges the order date (see attached). After 3 days of not hearing anything, I called customer service. Their customer service is in the Philippines, so I had to struggle to understand the representatives. I mean, these customer service reps are USELESS. They just repeat the same script over and over. They don’t promise ANY action to address the problem at hand. I called customer service 3 more times over 3 days. Once, during business hours I was connected with someone named Debbie, I think, who was in the U.S. Debbie also assured me the order would ship that afternoon. Needless to say, it did not. Meanwhile, my credit card had already been charged 2 days prior to this. Later that evening, I called customer service in the Philippines again and received the same robotic response from the customer service representative. I asked to speak to a manager and she again started to repeat the same response. Now, my blood was boiling. I demanded to speak to a supervisor. A supervisor named Edmar came on the phone. I explained the problem. He offered no solution nor recourse and repeated the same script as the customer service rep. As of now, it has been 5 days since the order was placed and it is still sitting in the warehouse, according to the Puritan’s Pride website. I am out $70. as of 2 days ago and nothing has shipped, despite promises for the last 3 days that the order would ship, first yesterday and then today.
I DO NOT recommend doing business with this company. I am in my 60s and have done most of my shopping online for the past decade or so and this has been one of the top 3 or 4 worst customer service experiences of my life.
