"I used to think that it's never worth it to write a review. But I'm deciding to write a review for the sager np-9377s due to the outstanding quality of the laptop. The nervousness I felt before I have received the laptop can't be easily described by words, due to the fact that it's a pricy laptop. But all my worries faded away after about 3 hours of usage. I have bought 2 alienware 17's before, and everyone of them had frozen in the first couple of hours(maybe I'm just unlucky), and that made me think it's normal for new computers to freeze. But this machine ran smoothly for over 8 hours straight until I ran across some virus online, which was my own fault lol. For the best bang for buck, I expected even less quality than Alienware. How can something cheaper be better in both specs and stability? Well, Sager had done it! Also, I used to think that these reviews are mostly fake, until the quality of this laptop surprised me enough to write one myself.
Got carried away with the laptop and I forgot to mention Pro-star's total awesomeness. First of all, real person at the phone without that recorded bs most of the time(and they pick up in seconds). The rush production of 1 business day was not found from any other sager re-sellers. Best price comparing to other re-sellers, but not by anything big. Still impressive for a laptop that's already cheap for its specs. Most importantly, the laptop comes as you ordered, nothing was missing or deffective. The last Alienware I got from Amazon had AMD GPUs instead of Nvidia that I ordered. Can't say enough about how great they are. Trust me. If you buy from them, you will come to this site and write a 5-star review, it's like people watching Breaking Bad recommending the show to everybody. It's magic!"

"I've tried to buy very few computers online, but one of the other high profile 'gaming' or home desktop replacement laptop companies couldn't even successfully process my order, as in their web page couldn't even accept/process it. What does it say for a company when you can't even place an order? I did, not to the fault of pro-star, have to change my payment method on my pro-star order. A problem on my banks end further delayed me, yet through all this nonsense, pro-star held my order, completed it, shipped it, and provided me with a suitable desktop replacement laptop. They have equal prices to the lowest offering out there, save maybe on sales on specialty goods of some sort or another. All of my emails on technical questions have been answered quickly and in detail. Jeff has always provided me answers to my questions and plenty of background information as well, which I always appreciated. My own personal choices are their Asus and Clevo based products. I can't say I am a 'fan' of MSI's single fan cooling system, but on their most expensive machines I hear cooling has been improved, so cheers to MSI on correcting a past problem. But pro-stars IC diamond cooling paste and cooling upgrades sounds like a wonderful idea and have good reviews. I plan on getting it on my next system, regardless of which manufacturer. I much prefer being able to chose what I am buying over an out of the box system and Pro-Star has been a reliable company for me so far."
"Beware that their laptops are big, heavy beasts with a short battery life. Don't buy one unless you are sure it's what you need, but if it is what you need they're very good machines and considerably cheaper than comparable machines from other companies.
I'm buying a new one now because my machine from the mid 2000s can't support enough memory for what I need to run these days. Other than it's battery my old machine is as good as the day I bought it.

"These laptops are very much worth the money; meeting both power and durability requirements.
I run my PCs extremely hard and this one has lasted for the better part of 3 years, only being turned off for maybe a week of that in total.
My screen remained vibrant and clear, and the chassis is easy to open allowing for efficient cleaning (both are an important necessity of a gaming laptop IMO).
The chassis did tend to get a little warm in the top right where the GPU and heatsinks are, but it never warped the screen or chassis.
Overall I highly recommend Prostar/Clevo laptops and Prostar.com."
"Bought a 17" laptop with top-of-the-line graphics card and latest CPU on the market! This thing will tear through anything! It was a little on the spendy side, but Prostar was great as they added the upgrade parts and shipped pretty quickly. The only critique I have is that I wish they would do free 2day shipping or participate with shoprunner to offer faster free shipping. Other than that, everything was great! System was packaged well and never had any issues. Screen was perfect. All LEDs functioned as they should. Plan to buy another top of the line system again soon!
I did talk to customer service a few times (email and phone) and have found everyone to be quite helpful. Good place to get a high performance PC from!"
