"I have used PRINTS MADE EASY for the past few years with good results. I have been a loyal customer returning when I need more cards

On 8/26 I placed and order for 500 cards and 20 cards of a different style for an expo I was attending on Sept 14 and 15. The delivery said it would be "guaranteed" to arrive Sept 6 giving me plenty of time before the expo to receive my cards.

Friday the 6th rolled around and I saw the online status said the 20 cards had yet to be printed! I emailed customer service and asked what was up and said I needed these cards but Sept 12th at the absolute latest.

Monica the customer service rep emailed me back and said they had a problem printing the 20 cards but would reprint them that day and she would make sure they arrived by sept 12.

On sept 10 at about 10pm I received a shipping notification the cards had shipped. I was unhappy to see the tracking said they where shipped UPS ground and would not arrive until Monday Sept 16th.

Again I wrote back to Monica and explained that I needed them by the 12th like I had said before and UPS ground was too slow.

Her response was if I didn't need the cards when they arrived too late then I could refuse the UPS shipment and I would get a refund. I am not sure how to refuse a ups shipment since the driver doesn't require to sign for packages. She didn't offer to reprint and reship next day

I am extremely disappointed. I had to scramble to find another place that would print the cards and ship next day air. again spending just as much money as my original order.

"I ordered 8 different business cards, paid an extra $18 for express shipping which their site said was "guaranteed" to be delivered by 3 business days. I ordered on Monday, was supposed to get them on Fri. I get a shipment notification thurs night that it went out that night 2 day air.. should get here by Monday. I needed these cards for an event on Saturday. I emailed them and called them. Got a response from customer service saying that the first batch wasnt good so there was a delay. Umm ok, so why didnt I hear anything about that? After all I payed a lot of extra money. Even so, why didnt they ship it out overnight knowing I payed to get them by Friday? SO I called customer service. I get a woman on the line that says that they can refund me the cost when it comes on Monday. I said that doesnt work as I needed them by Sat, hence thats why I payed for the expedited shipping. She comes back with they can reprint them, charge me half price for the cards but I have to pay the overnight. I asked how much that was.. it was ten dollars more then what I already payed. When i pointed that out, she abruptly said well thats all I can do. I cant do anything else, have a nice day. and HUNG UP ON ME!! I called back 4 separate times before I got a floor manager who did the right thing, had them overnighted to me for Sat free of charge. Awesome. She did what she had to do... but wow what attitude from the rest of customer service from a company that claims their customer service is the best. So monday comes and there are no original set of cards.. Tuesday comes and they show up, except two of the cards I ordered and paid for are not included.

This company is the worst. They lie and they dont care about what they do or how they do it. DONT USE THEM..

"Business card printing praise, from a very biased source, drew me to PrintsMadeEasy.

When I first discovered this company, I thought perhaps they'd be a hundred times better than Vistaprint, but it wasn't until several progressively problematic transactions in that I realized two things:

1) they *can* provide better quality cards than Vistaprint (simply by offering the standard, i.e., "normal and professional-looking", size and weight), and...

2) their customer service/tech support isn't nearly as competent or as helpful as I had hoped.

Vistaprint's outsourced customer service reps (in India) made simple inquiries and transactions a horrendous mess with both communication and attitude problems; the sheer amount of headaches they can induce is something you'll only wish on people you hate.

You'll get native English-speakers with PrintsMadeEasy, but clarity in communication is not always available. That is, in *my* experiences with the person(s) that was assigned to my last order.

One Key Point: If you don't use your own designs, going with most any printing company's template selection, or purchased/personalized designs will probably give you very few, or zero issues.

In my case, both with Vistaprint and PrintsMadeEasy, the biggest problems were trying to match color standards (without seeing a physical card), and specific communication with the person (or persons) adjusting your work without letting you know exactly what they're doing, e.g., application, percentage of tweaks, hardware, etc.

These points are much too comprehensive (and technical) in nature to expound on in ResellerRatings, but the majority of the problems I had with PrintsMadeEasy stemmed from dissatisfaction with initial order/prints. The initial print was just straight up wrong, but the "corrections" further exacerbated this "wrong" print with each redo. (NOTE: A then-approaching deadline aggravated the whole situation at the time, so the waits for reprints, and endless ping-pong emails/phone conversations ate away at patience, amongst other things.)

Basically, no matter how articulate and precise I was in communicating what I desired for my own designs, words just Failed. Shared vocabulary/design vernacular mean only so much when there's technician-based ineptitude, and the random belief that they somehow know how to make a design (not of their own) "look better" without consulting the customer/creator.

In short, three progressively worse reprints and an entire month wasted resulted in hundreds of unusable cards (that can only serve as fodder for impromptu bonfires) and... a refund!

That was surprising, and cool.

Thankfully, someone higher up decided to end the torment and cycle of inanity; whether it was the angst on my end, or production-based confusion on theirs, the concession to print failure was wonderful. Vistaprint would have persisted with the issue until the customer was happ(ier)--which translates into mountains upon mountains of misprinted refuse, but PrintsMadeEasy had some standards. (All the more respect for them, for knowing *when* to stop wasting both of our times, and their resources; I was able to find a much better printer in time for my deadline.)

In summary, this company is recommended ONLY if you're not going to use your own designs. They don't give you the absolute best cards out there, but with the great prices and print/shipping speeds, they are easily one of the better "value" printers around.
