"Aside from experiencing the same horrendous ordering process, I just discovered three years later that they sold me a "grey market" camera! This means that I cannot have Nikon Authorized repairs done on my camera. They sold me a camera that was not intended for distribution in the U.S. STAY AWAY from these guys. "

"After failing to receive confirmation for my order I called PrimoCameras and was put on hold for what seemed an eternity. When I was finally connected to Customer Service they confirmed nothing more specific than an order to my zip code had been shipped on Friday (I ordered the camera the previous Monday and my credit card was billed Tuesday.) I was then asked whether I wanted the $50+ battery or the $80+ battery. I was a bit confused by this question having ordered a camera, not a battery. (The camera comes with the required 4 AA batteries. A set of 2500 mAh LiMH batteries with charger is ~$30 at Home Depot.) The question was not if I wanted to order this or that battery, but which battery. In response to my stupidity the guy at PrimoCameras yelled so loud that his telephone rattled, “Let me make it very clear. The battery that comes with that camera will only last about 20 minutes.”, then hung up. (Rudeness must be a virtue in New Jersey.)
A short time later I called PrimoCamera and waited and waited on hold again before requesting a tracking number for the shipment. When I attempted to use the number I was given at USPS the response was no such number. I called PrimoCamera a third time to verify the tracking number and was told that this number was only for their use if the shipment was lost and was of no use to me. (I must be really stupid.)
It had now been over two weeks since I’d ordered the camera. Customer service said that my camera should have arrived by now asked whether I wanted to reorder or a refund. I asked for a refund. I then asked what might have happened to my camera. The response was that it was lost in the mail. The guy then said something to the effect that they oversold. Excuse me, which is it? A package doesn’t get lost in the mail because they oversold. Either it got lost in the mail or PrimoCamera was out of stock and fed me a line complete with phony tracking number.
I received e-mail from PrimoCamera on June 1 indicating my order had been cancelled. On June 3 I called Customer Service again after seeing that the $339 I paid for the camera had not been returned to my credit card and was told I would be reimbursed by the 4th. June 4th passed and the money had still not been credited to my account. Subsequent calls to customer service resulted in disconnect after waiting on hold. When I finally reached them I was told that they did not refund money to credit cards and I would have to file a dispute with my credit card company. It took several more months for my credit card company to complete the dispute process and permanently credit the money back to my account.
I hope you’re laughing by now, but I’m not making this up. I would not recommend buying from these clowns.

"BEWARE Yeah low prices free shipping, but place an order and expect to be contacted for additional items. Then wait to hear nothing, contact them and told "our supplier went out of business and our bank has problems and by the way your order is cancelled and YOU need to contact you credit card issuer for a non-delivery refund". What?? So I file a fraud report with the MC card issuer, they call Primo, US1Camera, US1Photo or whatever they are calling themselves this week and I DO get a refund. When puchasing on the internet, this is the kind of place to aviod, unless you like problems....NEVER AGAIN. "

"RUN LIKE HELL AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I ordered a Canon SX210 IS from them on 5/29/2010. I called on 6/3/2010 because they had not taken the money out of my paypal. I then called several days later to inquire about shipping and they stated that it should arrive sometime that week. My last call was after 20 days had passed from time of order and they said that they were going out of business, my order was cancelled and I would have to file a report with my bank to get my money back. Needless to say, their website is still up, accepting new orders so they can steal other innocent victims' money. Luckily, Paypal replaced the $309.00 that I lost so that I could order the camera from a more reputable online company..."

"This company is crooked. They did not issue an order number. Debited my account 10 days before they say the item, a digital camera, was shipped. Then after repeatedly telling me to wait 7 - 9 days from that point, when I called 2 weeks later they told me that they cancelled the order claiming it was lost in the mail and a credit was given. There was no credit and no notification. And they hung up on me after telling me report it to my bank. They took no responsibility whatsoever. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS OUTFIT. "

"Dishonest. I ordered a Canon Powershot SX210 online with an additional package from Primo Cameras and got a confirmation email with no order number. Two messages in two days on my answering machine from US1 Cameras telling me to call about my order. It took 2 more days to get through to a live human being. I questioned the message from US 1 Camera because I ordered from Primo. Mark said he didn't know what I was talking about. He then gave me the line that the battery with the camera wouldn't last long because of the energy used by the view screen and pressured me to upgrade the battery. When I tentatively agreed, the price quoted was more than the original price plus the upgraded batter. He then told me that shipping is free but it's posted on the website that there's a 9.99 handling charge. There is no such thing posted on the website that I could find. I cancelled the order. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!"

"I ordered a Canon T2i on 5-21-10. on Sunday, 5-23-10 i recieved an e-mail to verify the credit card info. This is only an opportunity for them to do a very hard up-sell! I agreed to a small upgrade from a 2gb card to a 4gb high speed card. along with this "upgrade" was a tripod, flash reader, ect...the he tells me that $80.00 is tacked on for "insurance". Fine. He told me that would ship out on 5-24-10 and i could expect it of friday or the following tuesday because of the memorial day weekend. on 6-1-10, the day i was expecting the camera, i got an e-mail saying that fedex had just picked it up!!!! I called the company and after being hung up on TWICE after a total of 45 minutes on the phone i tried a 3rd time. I was told that the delay was caused by a backorder on the 18-55mm lens,and the memorial day holiday! they did not bother to notify me of the delay. Then the guy had the nerve to start to lecture me about being sensitive to veterans! I informed him that I was a veteran and that this is about the crappy customer service! His answer," dont sign for it, they will send it back, and we will get around to refunding your money in a couple of months!"

"Absolutely TERRIBLE experience with Primo Camera - and then a customer service rep hung up on me today after waiting more than 20 minutes.

First my $300 order was delayed. When I called to inqure about this I asked for and was told I would receive an email confirmation and tracking information - but never did. Then my order was lost. Again I called and again I asked for and was told I would get an email update within 24 hours when Primo checked with their vendor. Again I never received an email or a call back. When I called back again, they told me that in fact my order had been lost and I would be credited the $300. When the credit didn't show up I called again, and again waited 20 minutes, to hear that my account would be credited 24 to 48 hours. Now nearly a week has passed and again - no emails, no communication and no credit to my account. So again today I called, again waited on hold for 21 minutes, then was told by the rude agent that the credit takes 3 to 5 days. When I politely asked why I was told 24 to 48 hours before he simply hung up.

What an absolutely terrible company to do business with. The most rude and unprofessional customer service agents I've dealt with, delayed product orders, then lost product orders, and now almost a month after my order I still don't have my camera and still don't have my $300 back to go to another store to buy one.

"Awful, just awful. I ordered my camera only to have somebody call back and tell my wife that the order had been cancelled because they didn't accept Amex (which their website says it does). So we spent a half-hour on the phone waiting for a rep to change the credit card only to have them tell us "that camera isn't available." This is a common Canon Rebel T2i.

Avoid these people at all costs!!

"I attempted to order a camera from this company. I was sent an email with no order number. I called to verify my order and find out when I could expect delivery (I had paid for 3 day shipping). My order was confirmed, however when I asked when I could expect it to arrive I was told 3-5 days. I asked could I know the DATE...3-5 days. I said I had asked for 3 day delivery so could I please know the DATE of delivery. "for the third time 3-5 days! Would you like to cancel your orded?" I didn't aske to cancel it I just wanted to know the date of delivery. "I already told you. Two days for processing and 3-5 for delivery." I then said..."You are very rude." I don't usually tell someone that but this time it was earned. He hung up on me. I called back to cancel the order and got the same person. I asked if he was the only person who worked there, he said yes. I said I wanted to cancel my order. He took my zip code and said "that order has already been canceled." I didn't cancel it...would he have emailed me to tell me? I said good and hung up! I will tell the WORLD NEVER ever use Primo Cameras.

"RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a Canon 50d camera body and a 28-250mm canon lens on May 1st, 2010. They called me on the 3rd of May to verify the order and tried to sell me an overpriced battery. I did not buy th battery and they told me the camera would arrive in 7-9 business days. I called back on May 11th because I asked for a tracking number on May 3rd and never got one, I spoke to Simon and he told me it was shipped and I should recieve the items by May 19th. I called back May 19th and had to leave a message because no one answered. He then gave me an extension (359), who is some guy Rodney, who never answers the phone or returns calls. I called again on the 19th (still no email with tracking) andhad to leave a message. I calld again on te 21st and spoke to Anthony and he told me the shipment "must hae gotten lost" and he would issue a refund in 48 hours, I asked for a confirmation and he never sent one. I called again on the 24th of May and spoke again to Simon, he told me a refund was scheduled and I would receive it "immediately". When I asked him todefine "immediately" he told me I would get it an hung up. It is now May 28th and I have filed a BBB complaint, called the manager of record and written him a direct email. I have also contacted my attorney and am going to sue these crooks for stealing $1,164.00. I left them a message today to let them know that is what is coming next."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM !!!!
DO NOT ORDER AT ALL.


My order was pending was 2days without any notification and just like others I received an E-mail to call too, which was nothing more than a sales pitch.
Finally I got to know that they don't have the camera in stock and will be receiving stock in three weeks.
I called customer care, this asshole talks and I go "Hey hi ! I need to cancel my order, he goes - what happened ?. To which I reply you don't have stock and that's why I need to cancel the order, the asshole says okay I will cancel your order, thank you. I'm like wait a min you don't have my order number nor name how will you, then he says no I will cancel your order, and just when I get get on his ass that listen you bastard etc etc, guess what he disconnects the call.
But thankfully I got this guy named TOM the other time I called on the line,, he was nice over the phone and cancelled the order for me.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM GUYS !!!
SAVE YOUR MONEY, ITS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE.

"Ordered an Olympus camera on Sunday for 3-day shipping. Got a confirmation without any order number. An email came from sales person "Bruce" stating that all orders of high value must be confirmed. Called the number, spoke with the rep who told me the camera is NOT available for 3-day shipping, only ground shipping. I told him the order is CANCELED and he told me it would be and that my card will not be charged.

I will be watching my acct closely to make sure of this. If they charge it I will revise my comment here.

"Never again from this outfit. My package deal went from $1,029.00 to $1,979.99 with Ken's throw-ins. They shipped on time and emailed a tracking number. I called after receiving the shipment; he (Ken) didn't want to accept a return so I asked for a $$ return on my credit card. The rest is history just like other customers and I'm still waiting for a refund on my credit card. I'm thinking of writing a letter to the Attorney General of New Jersey asking for help and a investigation."
