Priceline refused to refund my trip

"Priceline refused to refund a trip cancelled on their through me, due to COVID-19. I work for a Meals on Wheels and lost over $600 of non-profit money because of their unethical practice.
To try to save money for a training I needed to attend, I booked my trip through Priceline.com. I booked a flight and hotel, saving $400 from doing it seperately. Then the COVID-19 epidemic happened. My conference was cancelled. I called Priceline and was on hold for 3 1/2 hours. I understood. I requested a refund and cancelled my trip - 2 weeks prior to the trip. The operator helped me complete the on-line form. As a safety measure, I also contacted the hotel and the airline and did the same. The hotel, RADISSON HOTEL BALTIMORE DOWNTOWN- INNER HARBOR, said I had to deal with Priceline to get my refund. Almost a month had passed and no refund, so I called. They said they had not form from me, not record of my call. They contacted the hotel - or so they said - and told me because I did not contact them they refused to refund the money. So, I asked for an email to send verifications and proof. I sent everything. No response. No refund. Shame on them.

No compassion about Coronavirus.

"I had booked a cruise through Priceline and it was cancelled because of Covid19. Even though the cruise line is giving a 100% refund for the cruise price line is doing nothing to give a refund back for the booking fees. "

Never use PRICELINE

"Never would i recommend PRICELINE OR AGODA. the entire country is shut down and they refuse it give me a refund. EVERY other company or hotel has fully refunded their customers but NOT PRICELINE. They won't even respond or contact their customers, if they have no compassion during COVID times then they deserve NONE of our time once this is over"

If I could give it less stars I would

"Horrible delay in shipping I need to wash my hair now not in a month now because they have taken so long my budget is tight I have no choice to wait best bet just go into the retailer be easier and quicker probably cheaper .
I ordered from other companies on the same day from NSW to Perth and still got it with in a week Priceline take 5 days just to receive the order then 2-3 weeks for shipping wtf!! Not happy no voucher discount or anything just sorry it's because of the pandemic no it's not Priceline have always been slack with delivery and shipping

Tricks & Gimmicks

"I've utilized Priceline a few times to book a motel room. They had the best advertised price but a MYSTERIOUS EXTRA charge showed up on my card, twice so far!
I signed up with Priceline as a member & they sent me 2 coupons so far to use on my next booking. BUT the day I received the coupon, it had expired the previous day, twice! Unable to use coupons, unable to contact customer service... It's your money, it's a gamble with Priceline!

worst ever

"I have talked to Priceline 6 times and was given the " chicken or eggs first " treatment.
President Trump has declared a national crises, CDC has issue advisory that anyone over 60 not to travel.
Anyone who is consider using them, beware .
I have no problem with Delta Airline, United Airline, Booking, or even Sprit Airline, and Expedia.
But Priceline call center from other countries will not consider anything.

No rescheduling during a National Emergency.

"I used this company for the first time to rent a car while visiting my mother after flying from Maine to Florida There was never a clear understanding about changing my date of reservation or getting no reschedule or refund if I changed my dates to travel. There is National Emergency for the Corona Virus right now forcing us to change our trip dates and if we go now we could potentially infect my 81 year old Mother. They refused to change the date and said they are sorry. Sad sad and shame on them. I will never do business with this company again and be sure to make sure everyone hears this story. Shame on Priceline. "

"Worst possible company. Coronavirus is shutting down endless events, schools, venues, etx... Priceline says you are SOL as they have a no refund policy. Coronavirus is not their fault."

Cancellation because of coronavirus, only refunded 1 night!

"We were due to travel to Las Vegas for a soccer tournament for my daughter, but due to this ridiculous panic over the coronavirus, the tournament was cancelled and we were only notified less than 48 hours before we're due to travel. I can't get in contact with anyone at Priceline by phone or through their online chat. This is due to a worldwide panic that screwed us out of our trip that's absolutely ridiculous, I want a full refund! I'll never use Priceline again. "

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

"I have had a terrible time with Priceline over the years using their service. Their customer service is never helpful, and completely inflexible to an individual's travel plans. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

They also price gouge you if you are a few minutes late on a reservation! That is not way to run a company and not expect a terrible review. Look at their star rating people.... Thousands of unsatisfied people do not lie.

I wish I could give ZERO stars, but that is not an option.

Not reliable agency

"I booked flight, Priceline changed them on me When I ask them to give me flights are suitable to me then they gave me run around. Agents are not knowledgeable. Every time I’ll call they will say let us check the airline policy which they should know to begin with because that’s what they are doing all the time. I had to call them 10 times. Keep hanging up on me. "

No Room - No Responsibility - No Paper Trail - No Service

"Priceline is the worst company I have dealt with in recent memory, perhaps ever. I booked a room for my wife at the beginning of March at the end of January and received immediate confirmation that I had a room. Two weeks prior to the trip my wife called the hotel to ask for two beds as she is going with a friend. The hotel had zero record of us. We call Priceline, they verify with the hotel that there is zero record of us and they promise to resolve the issue in 4-7 business days. On Saturday I get an e-mail to confirm that they have gotten us a reservation with a new confirmation number. I call the hotel to confirm this reservation number and the hotel has that reservation, but it's for a different person, on a different day. So again I call Priceline and they tell me the department that handles this situation is closed and that they will look at the issue on Monday. At 1:00PM on Monday, having not heard anything, I call in again and they tell me that they were unable to confirm the reservation and that they have a note to call on Wednesday. (2 days before the check-in date) I tell them this is unacceptable, and they attempt to confirm the room for a 5th time and, SURPRISE, are unable to do so. I'm promised a resolution by the following day. That evening, getting nervous, I simply ask for a refund and they tell me they're unable to refund me because it has to be confirmed by the hotel that has zero record of me. All the while the customer service representatives are unable to send me any documentation that they're having a problem.

This company at best has no idea what they're doing and they have not evolved from the late 90's whenever they got their start.
At worst they know exactly what they're doing and they make sure to not give you any information that could be used as evidence for a charge back. NEVER use them. I would recommend taking a cardboard box with you and sleeping in that before I'd recommend trying to book a hotel with this company.

"My flight had a layover, original flight cancelled missing layover. Had to purchase ticket from southwest to get to my destination and never got form to fill out for refund like I requested from first flight. Lost money on this “deal”."

Unsafe and unvetted hotels

"Priceline offers an express deal that is more like a game of Russian roulette. So my wife and I tried it out not knowing about the hotels beforehand. We trusted that Priceline vetted it’s hotels when you are entering the parameters of what your looking for and include that you have 3 small children under the age of 5. Anyway we stated that we’d like a 3 star hotel in Phoenix to crash for the evening and the hotel Priceline selected after we committed to purchasing the deal was the Ramada south Tempe. At first glance I was satisfied however once I looked at the reviews and nearby businesses I wondered what I subjected my family to. The Ramada parking lot is shared by a **** and a marijuana dispensary and located right next to the freeway. Nearly 80 percent of the reviews are negative, mostly saying it’s unsafe and unsuitable environment for families. Within 30 minutes of booking I called Priceline to ask if I could be moved to another hotel in the area, I even stated that I would pay for an upgrade and escalated my concerns to management. Priceline coldly offered no options or solutions. Priceline needs to be held accountable to vetting their product, they knew I had a family of younger children and sold me a hotel that put my family in harms way. I’m very disappointed in Priceline and will advocate against their services . "
