"I purchased a Panasonic AG-DVC60 W/Pro Accessory Kit. I was very pleased with there selection of accessories in this kit, I believe I got the best Value for my buck. Also unlike most other internet ordering sites like this I found it very easy to talk to the sales and custumer service people. There was short waiting times on the phone as well as people who were easy to understand and willing to help me with my order from selection to delivery. "I would not suggest buying from these people. They are horrible and rude! First, off I order a plasma TV from this site and they high pressure pushed every overpriced accessory,200.00 shipping insurance,three year insurance plan,wall bracket,,cable accessory's. I refused to buy any of the overpriced items. I was told they would not ship the TV unless I paid 200.00 shipping insurance. I could have bought in on there web page and not be required to pay the 200.00 dollars. I canceled the purchase from the salesperson and told him I did not trust there sales practice or ethics"

"In all the years I've done business with online stores(and I've done plenty), this is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST company I've conducted business with yet.

They're customer service is almost completely inaccessible despite their 24/7 365 claim, they don't deliver on anything they say they will, they're rude and pushy, and any information that IS sent back is usually filled with vague half-answers that do nothing to solve any problems. This is just an awful business experience.

Case in point: They claim to be open on Sundays over the phone from 10AM to 4PM EDT. Well, what they really mean is that the sales department is open, but customer service(who will place you on hold forever during the week) is closed, as is billing.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. And warn your friends.

"I don't know why there are some people not happy with PriceRitePhoto. I talked to Sam at x201 and he was very helpful. Twice I left Sam voicemails and both times he called me back. I bought a ZR100 Canon camcorder and found the lowest price on the internet. A very happy customer."

"Ordered at 10am on the 24th, got the "sales" call the next day. told him I didn't want any additional items, kept me on the phone for 45 minutes till cell phone died. they did nothing, 3 days later called to find out why my camcorder wasn't delivered (paid $90 for 2 day delivery --rip off see fedex's site) Still hadn't been sent, was promised it would be "priority" shipped blah blah ... still no camera, sent email, no response, I called no operator to answer, customer service option went back to the beginning of the message, I push sales ... of course someone is there but couldn't find order put on hold for 20 minutes and left there... HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE COMPANY. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM AGAIN.
Now I want to cancel the camcorder but they don't answer the phones or have anyone available for "live chat" They said it was a "holiday" as to why they couldn't send it out that day... funny the holiday didn't stop them from hitting my credit card immediately... never sent an email with a tracking number like a professional company, in fact never emailed a confirmation order, web site is inefficient as well. Invoice number based yet never sent anything confirming information and providing invoice number. POOR. Now it is noon on the 28th still no camcorder, no email, no tracking number, no help.
Finally got a person asked them what the tracking number was. checked it was being sent standard air mailed out today the 28th. Told them to keep it and I better not get a "restocking fee" HORRIBLE TO DEAL WITH

"Monday 9/19/05, Panasonic PV-GS35 listed as instock at PriceRitePhoto.com, with a $50.00 Mfr rebate if ordered prior to 10/1/05, so I ordered online with 5-7 business day shipping.
Thursday 9/22/05, (3 bus days since order), received follow up sales call for additional unrequested items, politely declined, and was informed item would ship 5-7 business days. (From when, the 19th or the 22nd??)
Thursday 10/6/2005, (13 bus days since order), item not received so I called PriceRitePhoto back and was now told item was on "national backorder" and nobody had them, but they would receive on Friday 10/7/2005 and then ship overnight so I should have Monday morning. Lady said she would even toss in a filter kit as compensation for troubles. I said "Thank you, then I should receive first part of next week", and was ensured "No, you will have Monday".
Wednesday 10/12/05 (17 bus days since order) item still not received so called again, and was told "Didn't you get our email? We cancelled your order on Thursday, 10/6/05". Why didn't they tell me that when I called on the 6th?? No explanation, no help, tough luck. Now beyond cutoff date for $50.00 Mfr rebate. Vendor lied again and again. This was the most disappointing online purchase experience I have dealt with. I wouldn't even recommend this vendor to someone I didn't like. Terrible.

Fortunately, found out through other vendor, B&H Photo, that Mfr had new $50.00 rebate as of 10/01/05, so I ordered through B&H on Friday afternoon 10/14/05 and received item in Indiana on Wednesday 10/19/05. No problem, no pressure, no hassle. Just exactly what an online shopping experience should be like.

PriceRitePhoto should be blacklisted, just like a spammer.

"I am very, very disappointed with this store, PriceRitePhoto. I took a risk to order this un-known store because I trusted CNET site. I ordered a digital camera, Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1S on Oct. 11th, 2005 but did get the email confirmation until the 12th . In the email, they asked me to call their 1-800 numbers to confirm the order or else the order will not ship. I called the number on the 12th but the office was closed until the 14th because of their local holiday. What a frustrating ordering process!!! I have ordered a lot stuff on the net, but never have to go through this! I decided to cancel my order via email, since I can’t talk to anyone on the phone. I got several calls from PriceRitePhoto over the weekend, but I wasn’t available. I called them today 17th to confirm my cancellation and they said that I can not cancel my order via email so they transferred me to the customer service dept. Their customer phone system didn’t work (I had to call back 4x). On the 5th time, I asked to talk to the manager; I got transferred to the manager, but was hung up during the transfer. So….call back the 6th time and talked to the manager (forgot his name) and told him how frustrated I was and don’t see that this store will have a good rating after today. He started to scream at me that he will have to charge 15% for restocking fee. I told him that the order has never been confirmed……he interrupted me while I tried to explain…so I hung up on him. He called back and apologized for screaming at me, then he told me that the order already been shipped. I had it with his lies and told him that I will block the charge to my AMEX card and hung up on him again. This is a very bad company....very unprofessional and lousy customer service. Do not buy from them!!!"

"I purchased a Panasonic PV-GS35 Digital camcorder on the 29th of September. The salesman (Mike) pushed an upgraded kit to go with the camera and he said it was a "best buy" with a lot of needed options for the camera. I was told that the "kit" I ordered had many things in it, such as a $99 tripod, which turned out to be sold on their site for $49, an extra 5 hour battery, which turned out to be a 3 hour battery and when I called to question them, they told me the 5 hours was "stand by time". I couldn't find any camcorder batteries rated in stand by time, as they are all rated in record time, even by the manufacturer. I felt like I was being hooked by a bait and switch game to purchase the upgraded kit, and when I complained to the sales manager, Steve, He included the 5 hour battery, but that was when the troubles started. I was told it would be shipped out that day in time for the last day of the $50 rebate. After checking my bank account and not seeing the debit, I called back to the sales dept. and was told that they would ship it on Monday and a free upgrade to overnight shipping. Here it is Thursday and still no camera, and no way to contact them (due to their holiday). I checked my order number on their website and it says it doesn’t exist in their records. Buyer beware with this company."

"Priceritephoto camcorder came with a first class start up kit (50.00 extra) and was about $100.00 less then I could have gotten it in NW Indiana stores. I was told the camcorder was in stock and would be shipped that day (two day shipping), so I thought I would have it in a couple of days. I received the camcorder 11 days after ordering (it was shipped overnight) two days after I cancelled the order. It was hard to get in touch with their Customer Service and they never returned a call but when I did get ahold of them they were polite. They also had a reason for the delay and said the camcorder would be shipped that day (it wasn’t).
I could not get enough facts to know for sure what happen but I think Pay Pal was late in getting them their money and when Priceritephoto got their money the camcorder was out of stock. From that point until them had a replacement camcorder I was told story after story until they get another unit. They then shipped the camcorder figuring I would not return the unit (I cancelled the order two days before they shipped). If their price was the lowest and it didn’t matter how long it took to get my order I would order from them again.

"BAIT AND SWITCH!!!! STAY AWAY! I placed an order with someone named Sam for the SONY HDR-HC1 camcorder as they had one of the lowest prices. Sam said it was in stock and after several minutes of reading from his computer screen as to whether I want additional insurance, batteries & lens protectors (all declined) supposedly my order was on it's way. Two minutes later I received an email from someone else in shipping advising me that my order was cancelled due to the camcorder not being in stock. I called back and was put on hold forever. Hung up and called back and asked for Sam and put right through to him. Sam said that they must have sold the 3 camcorders just prior to finalizing the sale. Sam told me that PriceRitePhoto had 3 they were selling at wholesale (the low price) and I didn't get one. I asked him to verify that my order did cancel by sending my an email. Never received it and now I'm running to AMEX to verify that they didn't charge me. Purchased one for just a little more through B&H. "
