"I agree with the previous reviewer regarding this seller's bad business practices. I should have listened but I figured one bad review wasn't enough reason to not place an order. BAD IDEA. I placed an order, never got a confirmation e-mail, and so finally decided to check my order status on their website. The status indicated, "You order is being prepared for shipment or has already shipped. As such, you cannot change/cancel your order at this time." I thought to myself, "Fine." However, further down the page it said, "Your item has a 4+ week backorder." Ok, if that's the case, then how can it already have shipped and how can it not be changed or canceled? I tried to make this inquiry through their online form that they recommend for a fast response -- it cuts you off at 90 characters, so you basically don't get to say anything. So then I called their "Customer Support" number, which is an answering machine that tells you to leave a message and they'll e-mail you in 24 hours. I never received an e-mail, but I did notice that my order is now "On Hold." I have no idea what the heck that means or how this will end up, but my advice is, STAY AWAY!!!"

"I ordered a knife online from premiumknives.com a while ago. I received a confirmation of my order the next day telling me I would receive shipment information/numbers via email, fine. Two weeks later and still no notice I called, they said the system was updating and they would email the information later that same day, I got nothing. I called another day and tried again and they "finally" said it was on backorder! On their initial confirmation it specifically said their were no problems with stock, that all the checkpoints had cleared. Their site should have said "back order" or "out of stock" when I placed my order in the first place, or their confirmation email should have said in their "Check List" that it was out of stock, or they could have emailed me within a reasonable amount of time telling me this. I think this is a bad business practice, taking your money before they have the product in stock."
