"I came to PosterCheckOut to search for a very favorite painting. In the mid-70s (like, whoa, 30 some years ago!) I discovered a French Impressionist, little known to most. I knew this was not a famous artist, but "sounds like Renoir." After searching many other competitor sites, I came up with nothing close. THEN, a search on your site, PosterCheckOut, I found it! Yes, O. Redon. The painting is titled Portrait of Mme. Violette, and is a quixotic blend between reality and fantasy.
