The battery I got was a new Dell battery as described it arrived promptly well ahead of schedule. The price was better than most advertised prices on the internet. This was my second order to this company my first order was for a replacement Dell laptop charger with the same excellent experience. I've saved them in my favorites and will be definately ordering again. I would not hesitate to recommend them for replacement battery or charger needs. "I purchased a power supply for a laptop because they offered a competitive price. At the time I used a virtual card number provided by my bank as another level of fraud protection.

After receiving the product, I determined that it was no longer useable as the laptop was non-fixable. I requested an RMA within 30 days and returned the product postage paid.

They emailed me asking for the card number, but since I was using a virtual card number they professed that they could not issue a credit. Since they have refused to answer my emails or offer me any type of refund.

When I spoke with them on the phone she chastised me for using a virtual card number and returning the product and she expressed concern about writing me a check for fear that I would initiate a chargeback. Since that time, my right to initate a chargeback has passed and Portable Components has refused to refund my money.

"This was for a NEW Dell laptop keyboard. After having to request shipping information I finally got confirmation the item had been shipped and a shipping number (UPS,$9.00) 2 weeks later, the tracking number I was provided still stated the item had not been shipped. At this point, I requested updated shipping information, or confirmation of shipment. My request was never answered. Nearly 30 days after I ordered it I finally received it. BUT,it looked as though it had been removed from another laptop. The paint was missing from the metal tabs where the screws are turned down onto after installing the board in a laptop. "I went through ebay to buy from Portable Components. After installing a 7800 gtx go in my laptop, I needed a 130 ac adapter to power the sucker so I could play my computer games at full graphics, and Portable Components had the Cheapest solution for me.
