Avoid at all costs

"Another customer with a really disappointing experience. Pluckpoint charged me an arm and a leg in return shipping fees after their delivery service lied about attempting to deliver and sent my order back. Guess whose side pluckpoint took? Horrible email response time. I feel sorry for everyone that works there and every who orders from them. Beware as their own employees (Imran and Syed) write reviews and upvote the small amount of positive feedback. Avoid at all costs."

"I highly recommend avoiding this company. The customer service is appalling, contacting them is a nightmare and getting the item you have paid for is like getting blood out of a stone. I ordered a kidkraft kitchen in November and payment was taken on the 1st of December. However despite the delivery estimate being around 14 days the item still wasn't here 3 weeks later so I phoned the helpline and was told the courier had lost it and another would be dispatched and reach me within a few days. Again nothing arrived and when I tried phoning all I got was voice mail, I have left loads of messages none of which have been answered so I started emailing instead. I had to email them multiple times to get a single reply, but eventually I was assured that the item would reach me by christmas as it was a present. The day before Christmas Eve I receive another email telling me the item has again been lost in transit and won't reach me buy christmas. The kitchen cost over £130 and if I don't get it or a refund in the next 21 days I'm contacting trading standards. I wish I'd never ordered from them, I'm not sure I will ever get the item or a refund so beware. "

"Didn't receive my item, had to send a total of 24 emails and 6 phone calls, of which only about 10% were answered. Total period needed to deal with them: 50 days.

Steer well clear of ever ordering anything from them.

"Having purchased a Range Rover Evoque Remote Control Electric ride on for my daughter as a special Christmas 2013 present, today, 16th March, I still do not have a working toy for my daughter, almost three months after she was given it.

The original purchase was 11th November 2013 and the item finally arrived after chasing its availability on 17th December 2013 despite Pluck Point suggesting it was in stock and available for delivery.

My initial advice to Pluck Point was by email 27th or 28th December 2013.

Pluckpoint responded promptly initially suggesting the battery needed to be replaced and a new battery arrived, with a date stamp older than that of the one fitted. Surprise, this still didn't solve the problem and the toy ran for less than 5 minutes on remote and a further two minutes on manual.

Next Pluckpoint deflected me to Flying Gadgets who I assume are the suppliers of this product to Pluckpoint.

Again I was responded to quickly however it was suggested that the battery charger was the issue. A new charger was issued to us. After charging the battery for the required time the same problem presented itself. The car would not run for more than 5 minutes.

That afternoon, I informed Flying Gadgets that the car still did not work and was surprised to hear that they thought it was the battery ! A new battery has been dispatched, received Friday 14th March, charged and tested and guess what ....... The SAME PROBLEM is there. It will run for 5 mins on remote and then just stops and will not move on manual or remote.

It is a lovely looking vehicle (toy) however the build quality isn't as good as I would expect and the performance appears to mimic the issues that Range Rover have had historically ( and I love the Sport variant ), poor reliability.

Despite several requests to remedy the problem I still have a Christmas 2013 present for my daughter that is inoperative and a real disappointment.

"item ordered turned to be immediately faulty - Pluckpoint do not answer there phone nor do they offer refunds., eventually they sent a more expensive replacement and overcharged my credit card. Pluckpoint are crooks & four months on im still chasing a refund from them. I have now reported to trading Standards. PLEASE AVOID unless you want to be conned"

"I recently purchased a watch from this site and it was not a cheap one either. The watch was a birthday gift for my wife. The item was delivered but due to me working offshore I did not get a chance to view it until my wife's birthday. Unfortunately I had purchased and evenning/dress watch and not a day to day watch as she wanted.

I sent a polite email asking for the returns policy, as they don't have one on their site (should've been a clue to the customer service there).This was on the 14th day after I purchase the watch. I was then told I was outwith the 7 days cooling off period and no further action would be taken on this matter.

I then explained I worked away and never had a chance to view the item until outwith the 7 days but did not even get a response. This is a shockingly poor level of customer service.

I would suggest staying well away from this site. If you can't match up customer service with good prices then it's not worth saving a few pounds if it then costs you weeks of aggravation.

Stay well away from this site.

"I received my order quickly and all seemed ok but the item was not quite what I wanted so I needed to return it. Could not get through on the phone and it took them a week to reply to my email. They wanted to charge a restocking fee for the return, even though that is against the law, and tried to make it as difficult as possible to return it. Never again will I shop from them"
