"When I purchased this item the website showed it was in stock. Four days later they sent me an email saying that their reps over sold this item and it was on back order and they would be getting some more in two business days. That never changed it was always two business days. Even when I called them they would still say they were getting some in two business days. The listed that there would be a penalty if the order was canceled so I didn't. A week before Christmas they canceled the order. Then they sent out an email saying that for a one time off they would sell me a camera at their cost. I went to their website and chose one. They didn't respond and when I looked on their website the price of that camera went up $26. Two weeks went by and they sent me an email stating that their price was exactly the one on their website so I did a search and found that there were several other websites that had the camera for a couple HUNDRED less then them. I purchase a lot of stuff on the net because I live in a small town and it is cheaper. I have purchased over $20,000 worth this year alown. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with!"

"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE

It's rare that I take the time to post a negative review, but PiranhaTech certainly deserves this one.

I ordered three hard 8.1 gig hard drives for an email server. When I received them, 2 of them were bad. I returned them (following their arduous, Gestapo-like RMA requirements to the letter) and received two more. Guess what? One of those was bad, too.

I returned THAT one, and finally got my third good hard drive nearly a month after I ordered it. During the first return, I called their ordering support line. Wow -- sounded like I'd interrupted a house party. An insane amount of noise in the background.

Overall, by far the most unprofessional reseller I've ever dealt with. I encourage you to never, ever depend on PiranhaTech for anything.

"I ordered Hard drive from this company, they advertised it as new. I received used and defective drive. I sent it back and they din't refund my money neither sent me a new drive. Awful company never buy anything from them."

"These people are awful. I bought 2 motherboards at a very good price. One of them worked, one of them didn't. I sent the bad one back and received another bad one. I e-mailed their customer service and never got a response. so I'm sending the second bad one back again through their rma system and will try all over again. Buyer beware. it's now costed me $20.00 more more than I anticipated in shipping costs. there is NO customers service with this company at all. "

"These Guys suck! 3 mainboards later and no satisfaction. I finally opted to trade for a couple od CD Roms and they screwed that up. Finally, after about 6 weeks the sent me a couple of used floppy drives and some cheap speakers. I feel like I got off lucky - at least I got something."

I was late with my return and they gave me another 15 days today, Nov. 6 !!!

I used Piranha's contact page to say they sent the wrong mobo.

2 days later, they emailed my rma # and a FREE return shipping label (ups)!!!

No questions asked !

I paid total of $35 for the mobo, how can long can they do this and stay in biz ?

I have ordered from Piranha Technology twice and both times they shipped on the same day !

New policies must be in force.

"STAY AWAY from this company!!!
Packing and shipping is awfull. Unless you think a 17in monitor
should be packed directly ontop
of a cdrw. Monitor smoked when plugged in. cdrw?, well you figure it out. Their packing is so poor that UPS will not Accept the same box and packing for rma. Now I sit with the second monitor that needs to be rma ed and UPS will not accept their packing again.

"I ordered a motherboard and got exactly what I ordered at a good price, packed well, and shipped quickly (and free!). "Look at AlinaMicro, this used to be them. They got a bad rep and changed their name. This company is terrible. They shipped me a DOA motherboard, no tracking number, I couldn't get techsupport, the phone just rang, no one answered my messages. Finally gave up and web requested an RMA. Got shoddy instructions, took 3 weeks to get an answer on the web site, now the only thing I know is "Its in accounting". BEWARE!!"
