The packaging was hearty, unlike many items of this size that are sent in plastic bags inside the shipping container, and the graphics on the packaging provided a good pictorial of all the other products available, most of which I was unaware.

The PhotonLight also came with a stout key-ring attachment, so it can easily be connected to something a person carries at all times, like a pocket knife, wallet or key-chain, making it immediately available for emergency use.

Lastly, and in addition to the positives noted above, this is a terrific gift idea for the gals in a man's life, after he puts one on his own key-chain, of course. "Got the bike mount adapters for the Photon Freedom Fusion -- decent price for the adapters. Other merchants have the light itself a LOT cheaper, but did not have the adapter/mount. The mounts are good and do just what they say. The lights are good for what they are as headlights, convertible to flashlight or lantern, etc. -- very versatile.

However, for a bike headlight, not bright enough for me. Still working on how to use the 150 lumen $8 Costco LED flashlight well, it's bright enough. The red would probably be good for a taillight, but it doesn't have reflectors built in like a purpose-designed bike taillight would.

Anyway, not able to use the lights like I had hoped, but they are useful for other things. I had a good experience buying the mounts from PhotonLight.com. "
