"I would stay away form this company. I placed an order 5/25 through the web and as of 5/30, have not heard anything reagrarding my order. The email says that you cannot cancel an order through the web, only by calling their customer service. I tried to call their customer service on 5/30 at 2:15 PM PDT. I got a guy who would not tell me his name. He was rude to begin with and didn't say more than 3 words to me. He abbruptly asked "What product" without even asking for my order number or what my problem was. When i said Lense, he quickly said, "We are closed, you need to call Customer Service on Monday" and then hung up on me.
This company shoudl not be trusted!!"
"PhotoDynasty is a total bait-and-switch scam. They bait with a low-price package and then a salesman calls to tell you that it is out-of-stock but there is another "upgraded" package that is better. It is not! Then they threaten with "cancellation fees" ($400) if you try to cancel, and exorbitant "restocking fees" ($800) that need to be paid in advance before they will accept a return and issue a refund. Not only that, they charged my credit card double the advertised price on their website AND charged TWICE! My credit card is now handling is as fraud. STAY AWAY!"
"Clear cut BATE & SWITCH. They did not have the product (Canon EOS 40D) at the advertised price, but at least they notified me by email a few days later and canceled the pending credit card charge. Others are worse.
I am very surprised that they can operate like this."
"I made the mistake of ordering a Canon rebel xsi at an imcredibly low price from Photo Dynasty last week, when I failed to recieve a notificaiton from the company I called to make sure it went through. After being persueded to spend three times the amount I originally intended on a 'presidential' package I asked for an email with an itemized list of exactly what I was getting, I was assured an email would be sent right away and I hung up. After a day of waiting I called again, asked for again for an email of what I had agreed to purchase and again was told it was being sent out immediatly. When the email didn't show I called and asked to cancel my order, when they asked why, I told them I was uncomfortable with the customer service and was unsure of the companies credibility. They assured me everything was legitimate and I would be recieving an email immediatly. I did, from Best price cameras, and what was itemized was not what I agreed to purchase. Had the lenses included been canon, like I was told, and not sigma, it would have been a good deal, but the package was at least $600 ovepriced. I then placed no less than 8 calls to cancel the order and was hung up on 5 times, the other three I was directed to their non-existent customer service department and disconnected. The sales reps were extremely rude, threatened to sue me for fraud and make a negetive report on my credit and also said there was a 15% cancelation fee. I told them that made no sense and was hung up on. I have canceled my card and feel like breaking some knees. Don't even bother with this company or its affiliates."
"Four days after I ordered a Canon Camcorder at an unbelievably low advertised price which made me suspicious to begin with, I never received any e-mail acknowledgement of the purchase. I called and spent at least an hour trying to contact their customer service to cancel the purchase and was told it was on back order. First time i had heard anything from them since my initial call to order four days ago. Personnel are very abrupt, discourteous and dismiss you very quickly. Cannot imagine how they stay in business. Thanks to Reselleratings.com I now have learned where to go to find a reliable merchant. Ordered through I Buy Dugutal and found a totally different experience. Top notch in every way The good ones are out there, you just have to spend time finding them. "

Get and email saying it will arrive 5 days later. What happen to two day shipping?. Very ruide people. Am already asking my Card company to pull back the payment. "
"Do not buy from these guys!!! I ordered a camcorder on line, I received a phone call to confirm the order. When I called the salesman started trying to sell me all the extras I would need, when I refused all at once the camera was back ordered and would be 6 to 10 weeks before delivery. Then he canceled the order. This company is a first rate example of a bait and switch company and I am sorry to say but if if this is an example of how New Yorkers operate I am glad to say I will never have anything to do with that state. "I didn't order anything, but since I could not find anything, I called them. I actually got through and asked about the camera I was interested in. Oh sure, it is all legit and on the up-and-up assured the salesman. I asked about how long it would ship out, he replied about 1 week. I asked if he had any in stock, he replied, we sure do. I asked him if this was a bait and switch company. He asked what is that? I replied, you order something and then when you don't order all the inflated upgrades, your order gets cancelled. Once the word get out they are scammers, they throw together a new website with unbelieveable lower prices and grab people's names and CC numbers. I canceled my credit card. Why can't the NY Better Buisness Bureau shut these guys down?!"
