"I decided to try Pet warehouse for the first time since they had the lowest advertised price on the Ai Hydra lights that I needed. Shortly after placing the order I received several conflicting emails. Eventually I found out that they didn’t actually have the lights in stock and there would be a short delay in shipping them to me.
Well that short delay ended up being just over 30 days and the phone number that I eventually was giving after calling one of the retail locations several times was never answered. Email sent was not answered either until I requested a cancellation of my order. At that point someone finally answered and claimed that they had been trying to call me multiple times. There were no missed called or messages from pet warehouse at all and I verified the phone number with them. "

"I had the same experience as many others on this site. I attempted to contact them via email, which is the only option they provide. After no reply I titled my email "FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION". Amazingly I received a response within an hour. After a few sarcastic responses, and being banned. They sent an email for a refund. Of course, I didn't receive the refund, so I followed through with the FTC complaint. Within 2 hours I had a legitimate FULL refund receipt with a transaction ID, which posted to my credit card today. Hope this helps tjose who still have not received their order or refund."
"First off, I understand that with wildfires, covid, and hurricanes, that things are CRAZY right now. I am forgiving for that, but to never get back to me about my order issue, that's frustrating. It's been many weeks.
If you need quick products, Pets Warehouse is not the place for you. They do have wholesale prices which are usually pretty good with a diverse product range. But it takes a while to get here, at least for me in Indiana.
One of the main things I NEEDED for my bioactive terrariums I was designing was the hydroponic clay substrate. I was super happy to be able to get 3 bags of it for pretty cheap. First they delayed my order until "all items were available". That was annoying, but okay I get that. Then, when it finally comes in (with no updates from the actual company until weeks after I received the package) they scribbled out the clay substrate with purple pen and wrote "out of stock" and "credits added to account". I don't get why they even bothered delaying my order if my things weren't all there.
I must admit, I was very upset. I reached out to customer service and never received a response. I still don't want silly credits to my account, I want my money back to my card, why would I spend money there again if they can't even bother you on get my order correct or at least let me know beforehand?? I doubt they'll see this with their track record, but maybe it'll save some of you."
