"At first I was very excited to do business with PeppyParents due to their good prices and free shipping with no tax. Unfortunately, as expected, this was too good to be true. We bought an Uppababy Vista from them, and they had not advertised that there was a functional difference between products from one color to the next - the blue had a magnetized canopy while the green did not. When we contacted them to resolve this issue, the customer service rep essentially said that we should be happy we got a good deal and if we're not happy with them, we don't need to do business with them because there are plenty other retailers around. They made no attempt to make the issue right. In fact, they even asked what we wanted them to do to make the issue right and then flat out refused when we asked them to assist with a swap through the manufacturer (they were out of stock) given that the product we wanted was in stock on the date and time of purchase - i.e. it was truly their error that led to this problem.

Peppy Parents have written a response below and conveniently omitted the fact that the item I would have purchased had they advertised their product correctly WAS in stock the day that I purchased it. I realize they would issue a refund, but that doesn't seem fair that they are sending me off to buy it for more money elsewhere when I was robbed of an opportunity to buy the exact item I wanted at the sale price had they only advertised their item appropriately. It is not good customer service to insinuate that this is acceptable because everyone else was equally poor at marketing their item. Most other retailers I have had dealings with will take these things seriously and take care of the customer accordingly. They are excellent at talking around the issue but not at resolving it. The excuse of that they gave me the best price around is not acceptable to explain away poor advertising and is hardly an excuse when most other retailers are happy to price match and will give you better customer service to go with it!

If anything changes, and they do resolve this issue, I will be sure to update this review. As of right now, though, that seems unlikely, and I'd recommend being cautious when dealing with them.

"My experience was great. I really appreciate the 6 month return policy and their thoughtful reasoning for doing so. It is nice to work with a business that really cares about its customers. I received everything I ordered just as they said. So far the stroller is great and I think I am going to like it, planning to have twins very soon and excited how versatile the stroller is. I will recommend Peppyparents to any one that asks about ordering baby products online. Thank you for the great service."
