Garbage Company with a Shady Returns Record

"The other reviews said it all -- they do not make good with their return policy, and when attempting to deal with customer service. Special shoutout to Ariel from customer service for her robotic copy and pasted responses.

Don't waste your time and energy dealing with this company.

"Received order Friday 03-18-22. Droped off return at Des Plaines, IL ( suburb of Chicago ) Saturday 03-19-22. Peltz uses Fed Ex Economy through USPS. Just delivered to Greenwood, IN
( just outside Indianapolis ) 04-21-22. You read that correctly - 33 days to return !

I was scared after reading reviews

"I was scared after reading reviews. I had not read before i ordered the sketchers flip flops I wanted. I was almost sick thinking of being scammed as I have had nothing this year but that from EBAY. I ordered the shoes on Tuesday of this week. 6/8. Got email that they would ship a little later due to problems with covid and mail service etc. So I expected them to be maybe a week late. Next thing you know it is Thursday and it was delivered to my po box in at the post office. Went and picked them up Friday 6/11 and held my breath when I opened them up that they would be correct. They were!!! Right shoe, right size, two shoes in box, you name it all the stuff I had read did not apply to my order. The shoes were in the original box to them, everything was wrapped nice and the shoes are great. I am so happy that I was not scammed and they DID a great job for me. It came out of IN and i am in OH so maybe different warehouses with them are the problem. Who knows but I had a good experience. Will I order again. Not sure. May still be a little scared, but this one was a good experience and came super quick. "

2nd day air shipping takes 11 days

"In this day and age if it takes 11 days to ship something 2nd day air than you are doing something wrong. They send you a link to track your order but it shows that it was filled. At the bottom of that page is a tiny little link to track your package but when I clicked it it took me to Fed Ex page that said the tracking number was invalid . Finally figured out it was sent UPS (why did the link go to Fed Ex?) and wasn't shipped until the day it was supposed to be here. It seems like they are trying to make it hard to find out where your order is. Sorry to say they will not get my service again."

First and last time

"Purchased a pair of shoes 12 days ago. Good price. No product delivered. Tracking with shipper indicates “no scheduled delivery date”.
It’s have shipped by stagecoach. These folks just aren’t ready for the big leagues. No excuse for 12 day delivery.

Horrible Service/Wrong size Deck Shoes

"I have ordered from here before and gotten the same shoes. This order was a mess ordered size 9 shoe must have gotten a 10, it did not fit. I tried calling, no answer, I tried email (3), no answer, I tried to chat on their site, no answer. I paid PayPal, so I sent a message to them via PayPal, finally returned the shoe, showed postage, and showed they recieved the shoe back after they said they had not, so had to upgrade to a dispute on Paypal and it is still not resolved. I will never buy from them and maybe no longer use Paypal either. Still no refund from Peltz!"

No ethics

"I cancelled an ebay order within minutes and this company refused to cancel saying it had shipped. A label was created 6 hours later and now they are saying it has shipped via FEDEX and will take another nine days to get here. I live 45 minutes from the store they say it shipped from. I don't do business with people who lie to me. Therefore I will never buy anything from these people or Ebay again."

Way too hot in the store

"I walk into the store in St. Petersburg and I’m greeted with a heat wave so powerful it would put summer in Florida to shame. The employees are fanning themselves and drenched in sweat. The smell of body odor and feet is overwhelming. I was trying to buy a pair of heels for my daughters quinceanera but she almost fainted in the store from the heat. We had to leave and the employees looked apologetic and miserable.

The owner should do something...

Terrible "attempted" purchase experience

"Yesterday, attempted to purchase some shoes at peltz shoes.... After I logged in to their web page, I found their selection wide and varied.
The problem happened when I attempted to purchase the shoes. I kept receiving an error message which told me to go back and check my order.... I finally gave up because I got really late and it made no sense and I thought I would speak to somebody live in customer service.
What a horrible mistake I made expecting they would correct the issue. The young lady I spoke to told me I needed to call my bank because there was a problem with my card.... Now I knew there wasn't a problem with the card, but sure, I'll do it just to appease her. I called my bank, and my bank told me that peltz never attempted to charge my card.
I called the customer service line back and the same young lady picked up. Once I told her that the bank said peltz never attempted to charge the card, She told me I was attempting a fraudulent purchase -which for the life of me I have no idea how to respond to that.... And then she said what do I expect when I'm trying to make fraudulent purchases and proceeded to hang up on me..... Let's keep in mind - I'm just trying to make a purchase of shoes.... And they had some of the shoes I really wanted..... Later in the afternoon, I spoke to somebody else at peltz at their corporate headquarters.... They told me the purchase I was attempting to make was too large which is why the error message popped up. Too large??? I was buying six pairs of shoes for different reasons.... Online they won't sell me six pairs of shoes??? I've never heard of a company that wouldn't sell more product.... And wasn't interested in selling more product.... How this company stays in business is beyond me. They insulted the daylight's out of me.... And I still won't get my purchase.... Am I really ticked off??? I think you know the answer to that

Great and efficient

"I ordered 2 pairs of shoes which were shipped separately. The first pair arrived quickly but the second pair hadn’t been updated on the tracking since the day it was shipped out 10 day’s ago. I called the customer service team and spoke with Sarah. She was incredibly helpful and issued me refund immediately (which wasnt what I had called in for - I had called to get an update on the order) as she said after 10 days of no acitivity on a package it is deemed lost. My refund arrived within 24 hrs on my card.
There are many very poor reviews and I was very nervous to order from them but I was very impressed with their prompt service and response time to a missing package.

"They dont care about customers they care about money! Worse online business I ever had dealt with! Wont exchange my shoes because there box the shoe came on is damaged ! Terrible company

"The same thing happened to me. They claimed I "wore" the shoes.....well, I did.......from the bedroom to the living room & back. How else do you find out the shoes do not fit if you don't wear them? They are pirates."

Scam company

"Ordered through Amazon, who I have never had any problems with. Received the shoes and since they didn't fit returned them the next day. Used the return label they provided. Received an email from them that the shoes had been worn and they wouldn't issue a refund. Contacted Amazon and they are looking into it. Stay Away From PELTZ..."
