When I called the store to let them know about my jewelry, they were very nice and said that they went out to the parking lot but I had left. The salesperson that they were going to mail it to me."

"When I say that stepping into Peebles is like going back in time, I am not kidding. It's never can I help you, but a friendly conversation with eye contact. I have to give a shout out to Betty at the Elkton store. She converts the checkout experience to a visit with an old friend. There are a few registers in the store, but I make a point to find Betty. Whether I am alone, or with my husband, we find something in common to chat about, and often stand there for a few minutes after the purchase. This does not happen anywhere else, in fact, they can't wait to get you out of the door! I have never had that feeling at this store. The best way to summarize is to say I would be willing to drive further and pay a little more for the level of service I received this afternoon."

"We made a purchase that we liked 3 days before our second visit. We returned to make similar purchases however the sales person said that the price had doubled. I showed the sales person the sign that was still there advising of the clothing special and the fact that there was still merchandice there that was there three days ago and the sign still read the same thing. SAles person said sorry, the price changed. We came back to the store three days later to make several purchases on that display but we certainly could not pay double price for same. We have been faithful customers to Peeples for MANY years now."
