"Peebles in Dyersberg is awful. The associates are very rude. Nikki was too busy talking to other employees to make me, the customer, a priority. I asked her where I should check out, and she responded very rudely. This was my 1st and last time in Peebles. Everything is spread out, and it's difficult to find sizes."
"I found the sale items I was shopping for but could not find a register open. There was no one in women, men or home goods dept. I had to search in children's department and found associate and ask if she could help as I was ready to check out. Sales receipt had associate on register 002 for store 05006 as Anna. My purchase was 120.65 and I questioned when I left if all items rang up since I had only one medium and one small bag. When I got home approximately one hour later I was going to let grandchildren have purchased items I discovered I didn't get home with items purchased for grandson. I called store immediately and was asked if package was there that I didn't have. Associate that answered phone did not identify herself but checked with Anna and she said package was left and she returned all items to floor as that was company policy which didn't sound very professional as I had just left store. I was ask it I could drive back to store and try to find the merchandise that may or may not still be there. I was not able to return at that time but said I could the next morning. I waited in line at customer service for over 15 minutes to ask for Jessica as instructed to do on phone. Jessica had no name tag so I had no idea who associate was but she was rude and just said that would be me. I explained the situation and she had me follow her to children's dept and try to locate items on floor. I did not find items and she told me to not worry as mistakes happen and she would refund items to credit card. Jessica was not helpful at all and made me feel like it was my fault. My husband was with me and we both were given only two bags with the receipt in last bag given to us. I will continue to shop online because I like the quality, price and selection that Peebles has to offer but until store improves I will shop online only. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to let corporate be aware of this unfortunate and very disappointing shopping experience."

"I always thought that the customer was right but not her. A rack of jackets had 40% off on it butwhen I got to the counter it did not ring up that it was on sell. The cashier asked an associate who said the sign had not been taken down so they did not give me the discount. That was not my mistake, it was the store's. I got the jacket because my daughter wanted it. The associates, not the cashier only said that she had brought it a few weeks ago and it was even more than I got it for. That really wasn't a good explanation. I would advise them to Keep statements like this to themselves. I should have gotten the discount!"
