"DO NOT ORDER FROM Papa Media! I ordered 23 books for a local Boy Scout Council in North Carolina on 3/6/12 and as of 6/21/12 they have still not been received. This company has horrible customer service. They are unreachable on the phone, they do not respond timely to emails and you cannot escalate when there is an issue. For 3 months we have been trying to resolve the issue with this order and get a refund. Papa Media contends that the order was shipped and returned undeliverable due to a bad address; however we attempted unsuccessfully to correct it before shipping, but couldn't get response from Papa Media. Now they refuse to refund ANY of the order."

"Ordered a 6th edition of a reference book from PapaMedia. Received old 3rd edition of book. Was charged full price for this old edition. Returned book at my expense. Never received refund or credit for the book or shipping. Sent 4 emails, made 3 phone calls and wrote a letter to PapaMedia. Months have passed and still no refund. Would not recommend this company for ordering textbooks or reference books."

"I initially bought a "best of" CD through buy.com's marketplace. Since it was a marketplace item, the seller ended up being Papa Media. When the CD FINALLY arrives weeks later it wasn't the correct one. It was also unwrapped and opened so that the CD was loose and the covers (it was a three-flapped CD case) weren't closed properly. I sent them an email that day letting them it would be returned and looked on their website for their return policy. No address was listed so I sent it to the address that was listed on the envelope. I got delivery confirmation and waited a week before contact about my refund. I emailed them several times and left at least three messages on their voicemail. All I received were automated emails and no return phone calls.

This company has poor customer service and communication skills. They're a terror to deal with and it's been like pulling death to get my money back. I've even given up on asking them to pay for the shipping fees because I just want to be done with this company; sadly, it's taken three months.

"WORST!!!!I paid for book at 07/24/2010. No answer to emails FOR MONTH! Refund initiated by Amazon on 08/20/2010 without any explanation. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!

"The worst.
They sent a musty, old copy of a book they advertised as "like new"
When I wrote a negative feedback online, they began sending daily emails. Their harassment by email was intended to get me to withdraw my feedback.
Never buy from them. They are dishonest.

"I attempted to purchase for me through Papamedia.com the Lord of the Rings Platinum Extended Edition Trilogy on DVD. I asked for normal shipping and per the invoice stated that I would receive the item in 1-2 weeks. After 3 weeks I finally received the wrong items, one case damaged and obviously opened. I contacted them immediately to find out if I could get the correct item shipped to me. All they offered was a $10 in-store credit, basically saying that their bait-and-switch was alright. I stated that I wanted to return the item for a full refund because they sent me the wrong item. I received the instructions, notified them of the tracking number and stated again I wanted my refund. They then tried to tell me that all I could get was a store credit even though I had an email from them stating I would get a refund. They backtracked after I provided them with the email and said I would get my refund but the shipping costs would be non-refundable. Between both shipments, I am out almost $19 even though the fault was theirs and will probably have to waste time taking them to small claims court. Stay away from these charlatans!"
