"BPPro was a huge help in creating my business plan. I had a lot of ideas and content in my head, and BPP helped guide me through a logical sequence to get it all down on paper. The financial worksheets in this program are great too. I would have never been able to figure out accurate pro-formas without this, and the ability to print them out in color and add them to the printed version of my business plan really impressed my investors. Awesome, helpful software! Totally worth the investment."

"My brief reveiw of Marketing Pro, on first application, has been very positive. The directions are clear, the application, so far, has been clear. If there is some glitches it was in exporting my plan for others to look at and suggest changes. The directions were not clear, to me, and I called Palo Alto 3 times. the first two times I was instructed to export the plan out to an internet source, where the commenting person was supposed to have permission to see it. He never received it or could find it. The third time I called I got instructions from the "Marketing group" who instructed me how to simply export it to "Word" and send it to my reveiwer as an attachment. Much easier. It is a good product. Having the ability to download some written directions, particularly about exporting, when , how, what's appropriate and when would be good."

"I found the software/template to be difficult and not very user friendly. I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to manipulate templates already in there.

In addition, what's the point of having an import/export function if it doesn't work. I exported the document out to work on it with the assumption I could import back in. That was not the case.

Needless to say after several hours of frustration I returned the software.

"I've been using Palo Alto Software's products - and recommending them - for years. Their Business Plan Pro product has the best wizard on the market when it comes to completing a business plan. It's very easy to use. The financials section is top notch! Especially when I've needed to use it for soliciting investment - it includes all of the formulas investors and banks want to see. I used it to raise $500,000 for my last start-up! Investors LOVED how all of their questions were addressed. I also recently started using their new product - Live Plan - and it's great! I love that I can share the plan with colleagues and work on building the plan together. And I'm currently using E-mail Center Pro as well. It makes support so much easier. I have yet to find anything better on the market when it comes to business planning, marketing planning and customer support. Keep up the good work Palo Alto!
