Misleading info on website.

"My daughter ordered Stiga clipper classic Penhold paddle as a weekly specials from Paddlepalace.com.
They canceled the order stating that the item is out of stock! But if it is, how it was still showing on their website?
Nothing was offered as an replacement.
Paddlepalace has low business standards!

they sold me a used Item as new

"I ordered 2 similar Stiga blades. One of them was used already. small scratches at the edge. In addition there were glue leftovers on the blade. They didnt even bother to make it look new :D This shop is a scam. I will keep the blade because it is no longer manufactured and this shop was one of last to have them in stock. I will never order at this shop again for sure. "

Defective item shipped, seller refused to admit mistake

"Take your business somewhere else, as this shop will never admit their mistakes ...

I ordered an assembled paddle with this rubber. Unfortunately, one side of the rubber was defective, as there was a large area that looked differently and felt differently to the touch.

I brought it up with the store owner, who unfortunately refused to admit responsibility. He offered me a discount for future purchases, but I'm not going to buy anything else in a store that is not willing to admit mistakes.

I had to take the paddle to a local shop, and paid for replacing the rubber out of pocket. The shop expert confirmed the original rubber was defective.

OK, I understand mistakes happen, and merchants can receive defective merchandise. But I would expect the merchant to admit the mistake and replace the product.

Counterfeit DHS paddles sold here

"Ordered two DHS paddles 6002 and 6006. The website listed on the paddles for authenticity verification is office Chinese Table Tennis association website. The verification number 16 digits checked on official DHS web site returned unverified results. However, paddle palace officer was able to get it verified from their Chinese counterpart. So fake and dubious. Stay away from this site

"I ordered a blade $109.00 + 2 rubber $100 + a box of of 120 balls ($60) with a total cost of. After 5 days when my items had not arrived I called to find out status of order. The order had not been shipped yet no valid explanation was offered. I requested that the order be shipped priority. The CS agent told me that it would be sent priority and that I would get it 2 or 3 days later. I called paddle palace on 3rd day and was told that order had been sent ground and that I would receive it in 5 days. I could have ordered it from China and I would have gotten it faster. He did acknowledge that they screwed up. I believe they screwed up on purpose to avoid paying the extra money to upgrade the shipping. Paddle Palace employees made me feel like they just don't care. "

"Four days after I placed my order at paddle palace, I received an email asking me to pay 10$ extra for shipping costs. I replied complaining that this cost was not generated by their checkout process (although I used it correctly), I checked again with a new order and still no shipping cost was generated. I informed them of this and said told them it is unprofessional to burden the customer with mistakes/errors in their application, but I am willing to pay the amount just to be done with it, if they instruct me how (the payment for the rest is already sent, although still not charged at my credit card).
THEY HAVE NOT REPLIED!!!! and I don't even know whether I should place another order elsewhere.

"i wished i read this before ordering something from Paddle Palace. I ordered a pen styled Blade with 2 rubber. i requested that one of the rubber be glued, because i wanted to see how it felt with just one rubber. luckily i did not ask them to glue both rubber, because the rubber was glued 'crooked'. When i wrote back, they just asked if it was 'playable and that their 'gluers' were of the highest caliber. Give me a break. i replied that although it was not aesthetically pleasing to look at, it was 'playable', Although, i shouldn't be forced to play with a paddle that appeared to be from the reject bin. Subsequent emails from me went unanswered. I am really disappointed with the customer service. i did not expect them to take back the blade, even though they should. I had expect them to offer me a sizable discount on a future purchase to make up for this."

"Paddle Palace is very bad repution, though. I called them, order the blade and rubber. They promised that they assembly for rubber, edge tape ... I called later on to verify the assembly and they said that they would take care of it. I waited for 5 days. When I received them, they did not do any assembly. Now I have to buy the clue and wait for few more day to assembly myself. It's worst experience with Paddle Palace. "

"I ordered Joola glue sheets, but PP sent me 3M sheets. I called in to discuss this, but was told that 'it's all the same'. Well, it isn't. Yesterday I tried re-gluing my paddle. Guess what - the freaking 3M sheets wouldn't come off the blade! I had to pull real hard to have them budge. Half of the glue remained on the blade! And the worst of all - a piece of the wood was pulled out of the blade!

I called to PP and described the situation. I was told that 3M sheets are fine, they never heard of this problem. They offered to have the blade shipped to them and they'd fix it. Well, I don't think they could fix a 1.5 inch gush in the blade. Plus, I have a tournament in 2 days.

I'd expect them if not outright replace my blade, at least offer a good discount on the new one.

I informed them that from now on my business (after years with them) will go elsewhere. Plus, other places (like megasping.com) offer a much wider variety of products.
