"I have purchased multiple accessories from this company. They were prompt in replying, though they have mixed up my address and provided bad tracking number. After mailing lot of times, and calling them, I got a mail in november that I should pay plus $50 for additional shipping fee. I did not, though I received my items 2 weeks after that."
"I wanted to commend PC SURPLUS for a superb job of making the mistake previously reported correct. See report below this. I was sent a different PC on their nickle. And they did NOT wait to get the other PC back before sending the second one out, but sent me an even better PC which was upgraded with a bigger hard drive, recordable CD, and DVD to match the previous computer. I was worried that I would have to pay to send the other PC back and then wait until they had received it before sending the second one. They said "we pay for our mistakes." And they sent it out within one business day.

My experience with PC SURPLUS is a mixed bag. This is the third computer I have purchashed from them in about the last six months. But one thing is clear about this order, someone messed up.
This is what they say their policy is:
We reserve the right to substitute parts of equal or greater value should the exact item not currently be in stock, should an adequate replacement item not be in stock, we reserve the right to return payment and cancel that order.
But in my case, this did NOT happen. I ordered an IBM Pentium III 667 mhz. with a 20 gig hard drive, DVD, and CD recordable. They were out of stock so they substituted the Pentium III 450 mhz, with a 13 gig hard drive that they were selling for $50.00 less!
Depending on how they handle this, I will call them today, I may not be a return customer."
"Ordered and received a 16GB IBM hard drive. Drive had bent pins, but was okay after straightened. Along with the HD they sent a free Keyboard as gift, I guess. "
