and the shipping was resonable and on time !
I would not hesatate to order from them again.
They have a wide selection of Boards,CPU's

"I made the mistake of ordering from this company via the web. Yes, I got a battery for my laptop, but it was not the right one. Once placed into my laptop it would lock up.

All attempts to get my money back were unsuccessful.

When I tried looking this company up via the web by it's P.O. box number (dead give away there) I found out they have been under 3 different names and reported for fraud all 3 times! Still using the same p.o. box!!

I am reporting them under this name as well, along with a national fraud report, a city fraud report, and a web fraud report all listing for that California address.

"I recently purchased a Gigabyte motherboard from them and it is not recognizing any of my IDE devices, which include two optical drives and two hard drives. I called support to get replacement options. They said I can exchange or return it. I wanted to exchange it because I really liked the board. They said it could take up to 21 days before I received my replacement because they had to test the one I am sending back first. I understand the need for them to test the equipment before doing the exchange, which is normal, but there solution to expiditing the exchange is awefull at best. The solution they gave me is purchase another board so they can ship it out immediately, and at the same time I will create a RMA and send back the defective item. When they receive the defective item back they will credit my account. That is OK so far. The however to this situation is they insist on charging a 15% restocking fee for the return, even though it is defective. What kind of BS is that? I will NEVER purchase from them again. I highly recommend any person considering PCParts.com to go elsewhere."

"This is not a good place to buy from. I submitted an order on the 12th of december and never heard anything back from PCparts. A week later I called and geltleman answred the phone and told me that parts were back ordered. Well today is 12/30/04 and I didn't receive anything. The typical agravation: they don't answer the phone and they don't reply the e-mails. The design of the site is just horrible with a black background and flashy colors; they don't update the site, even now as I am writing this review the parts that I was told are on back order are listed as available. It is simply put too archaic to do business with. I will never buy anything from them. One thing that one should do before buying anything is to come to reselleratings.com and check the online stores first; that way, at least you know what the others are saying. From now on, I won't deal with any online store, before checking them out at the resellerratings.com
This is very good, for if we all, review the stores they will be compelled to cleanup their act, be professional or else be forced out of business for lack of performance, in the market place.

"I was called back after placing an order --- supposedly I had chosen incompatible memory components, which was the only option I was given when placing the order. Charged me extra $50 for the "right" memory.

I called back later to cancel the order and was offered a $25 reduction on that memory "upgrade". I refused and was offered free 3-day shipping with fedex and shipment within 24 hrs.

I agreed. What happens remains to be seen. Be very very caucious with these people. Only 1 out of 3 calls I got someone who could speak understandable english.

"i placed an order for a monitor in early April, it arrived in mid May! i paid 2nd day shipping and they did not credit my account and they sent the WRONG monitor to boot! we kept the monitor b/c we WAITED SO LONG for it! would not do business with them again. we are still waiting on the second and last order 608309! nedra korevec"
