"Do not order from these guys! I took a chance with them since all I cared about is price not service, they fail on both! I placed my order Monday 16 Oct, assuming retail, since the website didn't say otherwise. They call and say I can upgrade from OEM to Retail and that they would expedite shipping and assure I have the latest version of the motherboard (meaning they would flash the bios, like I can't do that). So I said what the hec and went for the upsale, it was ony $16. I called 19 Oct to get a tracking number, only to find out they hadn't shipped yet. The guy said he would check and I hung up. 15 minutes later I get an email saying the item will arrive 27 Oct, now that's not 3-5 day UPS is it? Very dishonest! I canceled and purchased from Newegg.
------------
I finally got this issue cleared up with PC-Ontime, 14FEB07! I had to get my credit card company involved to have my account credited. I called PC-Ontime repeatedly to have them credit my card when I returned the product I ordered. Luckily I shipped UPS w/a tracking number and delivery confirmation, and kept the information. I also called the ***-***-**** number on the website. When I asked for customer service I was told it was residential number. A couple of days later I called back to place an order and they started accepting my info, I then asked for customer service and was hung up on. Sometimes I call and they pretend not to speak english!
Please do not order from this site, learn from me. Just go to Newegg or someplace else. The extra money is worth it."
"I ordered a RETAIL BOX AMD Athlon64 4000+, CPU fan and thermal paste. They sent me an oem CPU that had been written on instead of the retail box cpu, in a taped up Thermaltake power supply box. They also didn't bother to include a recept. I sent them an email and a pic of what I received, but no reply yet. I'll call on monday, and update this accordingly.
I feel like I've been scammed, and believe I probably HAVE been, after reading some of the other reviews on this online vendor."
"Ordered a Mboard and chip combo 16days ago still mo shipping notice
they called and tried to sell me a higher price item
told me the item i ordered was OEM (did not say that on site) this is the second time i have ordered from them the first time they called and claimed item ordered was out of stock and tried to sell me a higher price item (i cancelled the order)
Another problem is my credit card was charged by Infinity Systems not PC-Ontime"
"BEWARE of this company, They are very difficult to get ahold of after the initial internet placed order, they called and left messeges saying they needed to verify the order wich was fine but upon getting ahold of them after several attempts to do so and 3days later... and being put on hold 3 times for over 30 minutes we finally got to talk to a representative who tried to put us on hold again and after we flat said no your not putting me on hold for the forth time , we were able to ascertain that what they wanted was to get us to add the "retail" motherboard with my order instead of the oem (wich was /is not stated on the the add !) so we said yes add the retail motherboard that we did not want an oem part(not knowing at the time that the add did not state the motherboard was an OEM part ), after getting a chance to check the site again to verify for myself that ,that had indeed not been anywhere on the listing i am very upset with this company and will NOT under any circumstances do buisness with this company again. prospective buyers beware this company will gouge you if they can and if you dont have the technical knoledge to know different that you are pretty much along for the ride. BEWARE of this company!"
"They ask for more monney, lost a lot of time until I received the order, they sent another motherboard than I ordered."
"BAIT AND SWITCH! warning! Do not purchase from these people. Found their site through PriceWatch, and sure they had the cheapest $, but the next day they called to "confirm" my order. In reality it was to first try and upsell me to an retail version of the part instead of the OEM kit for an extra $20 dollars. When I said no thanks, they offered it to me at their "cost" of only $15 more. When I still said no thanks, they then told me the item was out of stock and wouldn't be in for 2 weeks."
"Seller charged my credit card for the full order amount 5 days before shipping the item. This is unacceptable.
Also, the tower case they supplied was cheap and flimsy. I will not be doing busines with them again."
"Bait and Switch at it's finest. Ordered online a Semperon 2200+ Combo w/ memory (http://www.pc-ontime.com/store/product2349.html) on the 14th. Recieved a call on the 16th that this processor was discontinued. Was advised that I needed to upgrade to a more expensive combo, and that the discontinued product was being removed from the site before day's end. I'll be VERY surprised if that link doesn't still work well into July.
Poor Customer Service Skills, pain in the rump to contact these people. The first live body I spoke to after 15 minutes on hold rudely yelled at me repeatedly to hold before even cursery greetings were exchanged. These people are about as professional as a road-killed armadillo.
Goes to show that I should have gone Newegg.
*Edit - 3/21/06*
Link still works....Surprise, Surprise....
*Edit - 3/22/06*
Parts have arrived, processor is not as advertised, Mainboard is not as advertised; PC Chips instead of ASRock, the only thing that appears to be as ordered is the memory. Yeah, sure, they're going to get my business again....
*Edit - 3/26/06*
It just keeps getting better....MB/RAM/Processor Combo is Dead on Arrival, No Post, no Video, No Beep-Code. Looks like I'm bound for the RMA party....And to top it all off, The link still works...."
"Buyer beware! Ripped off for $30 by charging cc for an order 3 days after order was cancelled and then charging an outrageous cancellation fee! Chronology: placed order 2/6 after being told by chat that it would ship same day. 2/7 Get an email on the 7th asking me to confirm order. I cancel order. 2/9 they call me to verify and I said no, I cancelled that order, sent another email to support. 2/10 they charge my card! I called they said ok they’ll refund. 2/14 get shipment notification, more run-around. Package arrivse I refuse it. 2/28 I get a refund that is short $30!
WTF >15% they ‘sometimes’ charged"
"2/17/06 Arranged the deal via AIM & was able to get them to call me to close the deal. Finished on the phone because their website was not fully secure. However, phone was difficult because of heavy accent. Phone service via 800# was non-existant (on hold for 1/2hr so I hung up) AIM service was good. 2/18 Other reviews have me worried. Order was placed on Fri before holiday no word yet. 2/17 Tried to IM customer service for a tracking number and no response. 2/21 Price billed to CC is $1 more than agreed price. 2/23 IM got tracking number.
Concerns: online states I'm getting a different part than what I paid for. Paid for retail and I might be getting OEM. 2/28 Parts arrived both were retail packaging genuine and sealed.
Would use PC-Ontime again if the parts and price is right.

"Slowest company to deal with. OVER 10 days to process my order. And that is AFTER I called them a total of 3 times before they finally processed the order.. And by the time they processed the order I had to give the customer a discount as WELL as pay another $26.00 because the original order was than out of stock."
"These guys are the same reseller as pcinfinity.net. I believe they just changed their name and tried to start over over due to the terrible word-of-mouth that had probably gotten around about PC Infinity. See for yourself - pcinfinity.net has the same exact address as pc-ontime.com: 4100 Powerline Rd. Building Z-3, Pompano, FL. That should tell you something about what sort of vendors these guys are. I would recommend avoiding them like the plague, unless you like getting the wrong product and never hearing from them again."
"Good response time, personal contacted for problem,"
"Great customer experience. They sent me the wrong motherboard to begin with but were very very quick and positive about rectifying the situation. I had the correct motherboard in my hands within 4 days.
I will shop there again for sure."
"I placed an order for a MSI K8N Neo-V motherboard with a Sempron CPU using pricewatch. After I entered my credit card information, I learned that the motherboard was substituted with a MSI K8MM-V. I called PC-Ontime and informed them that I didn't want the K8MM-V motherboard and wanted to cancel the order. They informed me that they would indeed send me the K8N Neo-V for the same price, so I didn't cancel the order. However, they never updated my receipt with the MSI K8N Neo-V and I never received a delivery date or tracking number. After numerous emails and telephone calls, I still have no information on my order except that they charged my credit card $124.97. I have no idea whether my order was actually shipped, and whether I will receive it or not. I called ***-***-**** at least 5 times and the individual answering always said they would send a tracking number, but this never happened. I also called the pcinfinity.net number, ***-***-****, several times and was always placed on hold for up to 30 mins without speaking to anyone. I sent numerous emails to both ****@**** and PC-OnTime.com that have gone unanswered. At this point, I'm ready to cancel the order, but I'm unsure that my cancel request will actually be acknowledged. Because of these problems, I'm ready to file formal complaints with the State of Florida and the BBB."
