"I ordered 2 monitors expedited, I got them in less time than expected. They forgot one of the cords, I emailed them and within 2 days I had the cord. This is my first time using them, I will not only refer others to them but, I will use them again myself. I paid less for 2 19.5" monitors in great condition (the monitors, not the stands) than I did for 2 16" ones. Very happy!"
"I bought two laptops, a IBM and a Dell and could not be more pleased with both of them. I am a Desktop Support Technician so I know a little bit about computers. The only complaint I would have is with the Thinkpad, the speakers ****, but that's not PC Liquidator's fault. I can only assume that dealing with PC Liquidator's that they would do everything they can to resolve these customer complaints about dead laptops and such, in fact I had a battery issue with the Dell and called them and they sent a replacement out free of charge. I'm now looking at purchasing a tablet from them."
"Ordered an Asus laptop with custom larger drive, and 16 g of memory. Placed order, then heard the sound of crickets for about a week. I emailed them to ascertain that they had indeed received our order. "Oh, we don't have a wall plug anywhere. Now you can tell us whether you still want the order while we rummage about for a wall plug...should take a week".
"Uhhm...mmkay, sure. Go find a wall plug, and I'll wait a week", I replied.
A week later, the laptop arrives. We plug it in, it fires up...and a notice comes up saying "please plug in your laptop". The battery was at 3%. We were plugged in, but the laptop couldn't see it, and it went black, cold and utterly dead within minutes.
Emailed PCL for another plug. That one arrived, and that one didn't cause so much as a spark of an led on front, and the laptop was thousands of times deader than Elvis.
This outfit, PC Liquidators, must be kids working out of the bedroom of their parents' house. Because no grown adults could possibly be this enept.
We heartily recommend to the reader to pass over this PC Liquidators, as there are other refurbished electronics brokers online. Any one of them would be almost assuredly superior to this Three Stooges-like outfit which is PC Liquidators. "
"So our company has done business with PC Liquidators a couple times and each time we had an issue and I decided to give them one more chance. The first issue was they sent us items that where never tested as they had user information and password protected, so had to send them back for an exchange, The next issue was that two of the four items did not even work that was and sent them back. and kept the two good ones. Then this last issue was ordered an older conference phone on 6/12 was told it was shipped out and a tracking number given to me. So instead of receiving the item, I get an email stating your order was canceled and refunded. When I contacted them the Rep was nice but in the end they lied to me told me the item was test good and shipped when in reality they could not even find the item in there warehouse.
In a nutshell don't waste your time or resources on a company that can't keep its inventory straight and lies to customers. "
"Bought opened box Half-Life 2. The site explained how you can get the cd-key renewed thru vugames.com. However, it didn't say it requires $10 to renew an used game. End up paying $35 for a used game and 6 weeks of waiting time for vugames to process the new key. Buy BEWARE! DONT TRUST THIS SITE!"
"As an Educational Computer Consultant and Hardware Tech I get to buy lots of things online with other people's money. One of the places I regularly visit is PC Liquidator. They have some kinks, but do offer bargains, especially if you subscribe to their mailing list and have access to their special sales.
This order is typical of around 100 or so since 1999. I keep coming back so they can't be all that bad. Prices can be quite low, especially for bulk items such as mice & pads, cables, low tech speakers, etc.. The regular sales on refurb printers and network gear keep my attention.
Shipping can be high, so you have to be careful, but to their credit the shipping costs are recalculated with each item added to the shopping cart. That allows you to find the "sweet spot" before that one more item bumps the charges up a notch or two.
An odd thing has happened several times. A small item or two have been missing from the orders. I email and they send it right away at their own expense, and that's fine. I'd prefer to have someone pack more carefully, though.
Last gripe - They use mixed popcorn packing that has obviously made a few trips. I believe in recycling, that's fine. But, many items are not plastic wrapped, so the little popcorns get into every crack. You can get a bargain used printer for 10 bucks, but you may spend an hour picking all the little, clinging foam buggers out of it!"
"Item I received was not as described on web site.
Ordered an item described as "Seagate Ultra Wide
SCSI 9.1GB Hard Drive", but received a 9GB hard
drive with an SCA connector. Ultra wide SCSI
drives have 68-pin connectors, so I can't use
this drive on my system. PC Liquidator will not
take responsibility for this and expects me to
pay return shipping plus a 20% restocking fee
If you decide to order from them, keep in mind
that you have no recourse if they get your order
wrong or an item is mislabeled.

"Good place for hard to find stuff. They are very much the liquidator, with some items having heavy wear. One discount case was in such bad shape I threw it away (too expensive to return).
Note that if you can show that the vendor is in error by printing e-mail, descriptions, etc., you can get the CC company to back you on getting the restocking fee and shipping back."
"Ordered some stuff on an impulse buy, mainly to see how they are. Got a great deal, shipping was spot on, and the price was right. I will look at this business more often."
"ordered few accesories. Price were good even with the high shipping charge. Received items in 10 days."
"Stay away from these people. My order was wrong and they acted like it wasn't their fault! They would not make it right...so I had to call my credit card company to have the charge contested. Ongoing..."
"I've ordered from PC Liquidator many times. I've always gotten good service, and received working parts within a reasonable timeframe. What they sell is like their name says, liquidation merchandise. In my opinion they are an excellent source for older parts for repairs or replacements.
My last order was an older Intel BP810 board for a reasonable price to resurrect the kids PC after my son dropped it. (The original system came from them as well.) I ordered the board on a Sunday and received it on Wednesday (UPS 3 day shipping)."
"I bought a USB mouse, audio cables, and wrist pads. They shipped it very quickly. On a previous order, I bought a laptop network card. It was shipped with a broken dongle, so they sent a replacement for free. I would buy again if the price is right."
"i ordered a stick of memory it was DOA called and got a rma # they said that they would refuse any #rma shipments from usps guess what? Called from post office now they do! must be in a padded package with anti static bag guess what? Refused shipment called them up they said it was improperly package!well enough called credit card disputed charges!!!BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!not a good choice if you have problems!!!!"
"This place is great. I ordered 3 hardware modems and some CD audio cables on 6/21/02. Order arrived as expected but was short one modem. I called customer support and spoke with a real person within two minutes or less. Explained the problem and gave the rep the order number. 20 seconds later the rep apologized for the mistake and said the modem would be sent right out. One hour later I received shipping confirmation by email with UPS tracking code. I have ordered several items in the past. All items were as advertised, well packed and was shipped fast! This company does not burn you up on shipping charges! I would recommend this company to anyone. I will defiantly order again!"
