"Highly Disapprove! I will NEVER order from this store again! It is now March 22, 2006 and I placed my order on January 24, 2006--I still have not received it! Further, I have left 9 email messages, and no one has responded! But, of course, my credit card has been charged! I suggest: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!"

"WARNING!!! This store and it's affiliates through the DoubleClick Mall are a consumer fraud front! Basically, they took my money and ran. Now being pursued by authorities for bank and consumer fraud!!! If I can keep one other person from losing their money to this scam then at least it will seem worth losing the $600 I did.

Don't trust a store without doing your homework. Check with the BBB in NJ to see just how many complaints have been filed against the parent company, DoubleClick Mall.

"PC-Desks.com and its parent company doubleclickmall.com are practicing unacceptable business ethics and should be held responsible in a court of law. I ordered a TV stand online from PC-Desks.com on Jan. 23. Pricing and ease of order were good but little did I know the shady ethics that would follow. After 6 weeks, I have attempted to contact PC-Desks.com and/or doubleclickmall.com via phone and email to no avail. The 800 phone number directs you to "chat with a live person online" but no one is available. Numerous emails have gone unanswered and I will be filing a report with the BBB and anyother company that is willing against this company for fraud. I wished I had read these reviews prior to placing my order!!! Seriously, if you read all of the rating comments for this company I would hope you look elsewhere to purchase your desired product. Purely unethical and unacceptable!"

"I ordered a desk from PC-desks.com and it took over 6 weeks to get to me. So I ended up cancelling my order and am in the process of trying to get my money back. They told me 8 business days. It's been 3 weeks. Also when you try to contact someone you get an answering machine or the website. No one ever replies to your messages or is on the website to talk to. I wouldn't recommend this website to anyone or it's owner Doubleclickmall.com.

"I ordered a computer desk from PC-Desks.com on December 4, 2005 and I have still not received it as of February 15, 2006. By the way, it is important to note that PC-Desks.com is owned by DoubleClickMall.com. PC-Desks.com billed my bank debit card on the day I placed my order. They sent me a confirmation of my order via
e-mail, but they did not send a tracking number. I was told it would take approximately four weeks for my order to arrive, but when it didn't arrive after six weeks, I attempted to contact their "customer service." Their website tells you to call their 800 number for "customer service," but when you call, you're then told to send them a message from their website. I sent them a message asking for information about my order...SEVERAL TIMES...and I never received the promised reply from them. PC-Desks.com and DoubleClickMall.com obviously do not show the characteristics of an honest, legitimate business and at this point, I can only assume that the people who run these websites are con artists and thieves. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PC-DESKS.COM OR DOUBLECLICKMALL.COM UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. They have made no attempt to contact me and work to resolve the issue of my non-fulfilled order after more than two months. I will be filing legal charges against them, so they can't steal from other internet shoppers. PC-DESKS.COM and DOUBLECLICKMALL.COM STOLE MY MONEY AND DID NOT DELIVER THE DESK I ORDERED. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES. THEY HAVE NEVER MADE ANY ATTEMPT TO CONTACT ME AND HELP ME WITH MY ORDER, EVEN AFTER MANY, MANY REQUESTS.

"Do not buy from this company! I ordered a desk from them and they immediately took the money from my credit card and did not give me a tracking number for my order. I waited 2 weeks and then sent them an email for an ETA on the desk and got no response. Sent another email and got no response. I tried calling and got someone on the phone after waiting for about 45 minutes on hold. She said it was on back order and it would be another 2 weeks. Waited and got nothing. I then called again and asked for a refund and she said it would be credited to my account in 7-10 days. No refund so I called again and they don't allow phone calls anymore. Now you have to do an online chat at doubleclickmall.com. I chatted and the person said she would put the refund through again and have it expedited. Still no refund after another 11 days. Chatted again with the same person and asked to speak with someone from accounting to get this resolved and she immediately stopped the chat without responding and went offline. These people are crooks. There is no telling how many other people have been ripped off."

"I ordered nearly $1200 worth of RTA (ready-to-assemble) Bestar Prestige III office furniture plus some entertainment stands from PC-Desks.com.

Customer service leaves something to be desired whether emailing or calling - it was nearly ten months ago that I made that transaction so the details concerning the CS is a bit foggy. Otherwise I have NO other complaints. Everything arrived in a timely manner, together and in perfect shape. The best thing I can say about PC-Desks.com is the low prices (I did my homework) and reasonable shipping charges - the competitors don't even come close and most overcharge for shipping -sometimes by large amounts .

One word of advice when ordering furniture online - if you order something with large pieces of glass (coffee table) there is a good chance it will arrive broken. Not speaking from personable experience, but I have seen enough complaints from others in these type of forums before.

"They were terriblle in service terrible not delivered the item not even gave me the confirmation number after being promised to get it next day by e-mail when i ordered by phone and 2 times in the weeks latter, they didn't even e-maild me a order number or tracking # after they already have debited my card around $900, they sad after 3 weeks waiting to know if i'l ever get the order,that they cancelled it because i finaly send them an e-mail that if they dont get back to me within 24 hours i want to retract my order and i will file a claim against them, and they even shut the phone down on me after that e-mail when i asked them if the are a real company or a fraud? and they hardly pick up the phone every time got them on the phone it took me atleast a few days trying many times, and they never returnd a phone call to a messege or even when i finaly got them on the phone and they promised to call back same day with info 2 times but i never got that phone call, i hope they'l credit my card the mony back they sad so but who know's after so many promises without respecting it, unbeleavable. stay away if you don't like headakes. "I found this reseller completely on accident while looking for a desk small enough that still matched some other specific criteria. PC-Desks.com was the only site I found with this desk, so I bit the bullet and ordered from them hoping for the best. I didn't know then the rollercoaster ride that would ensue.
I quickly realized afterwards that this seller apparently does not keep merchandise in stock, rather they have items shipped directly from the manufacturer. The problem is that depending on who the manufacturer is, there is a built in delay time. For the makers of the desk I chose, that delay would be 3-5 weeks. Not a great way to do business, but hey, they list it right on the site, and it was my fault for not noticing beforehand. Considering I had no alternatives I decided to stick with the order and wait it out, figuring 3-5 weeks is probably a highly modest estimate and I would likely get it sooner.
Over the next month I found myself e-mailing them to check on the status of the order. At first I received responses saying things like "Our order was placed with the manufacturer and we will provide you a tracking # as soon as we get it." Days go by and the e-mails start to sound like "The desk was shipped out to us, when we receive it we will ship out to you." More weeks go by and the responses stop coming. I decided to do what I hate most and call customer support. It turns out PC-Desks.com themselves don't have customer support, and they do it through some sort of ring called doubleclickmall. The support person answered the phone in what sounded like what might be the first headset ever made because I could barely understand what she was saying, and that was when it was audible enough to even hear her voice. My response wasn't information, but rather she said that someone would return my call with the info. I went to work hours later, and ofcourse they called back while I was gone. I decided to go back to the e-mail route, but this time using more stern language such as "file a fraudulent claim against you through my credit card company." I finally received a response saying "the desk was shipped out to you.... I don't know why this took so long...." etc., etc. Low and behold one more week went by and I finally received the desk. And all it took was about 2 months since the order was placed, and tons of e-mails, mostly unanswered. Oh, and I was charged for the purchase immediately after the order was placed, forget waiting for the damn thing to actually ship.
Combine this with the fact that there's nothing special about this reseller, prices are about on par or higher than other sites, and not to mention the horrendous shipping method they use, I can't see any reason at all for someone to want to purchase from them.
This is the worst rating I've ever given a reseller, and I feel it is much deserved.
