Anyways, to the point: I used PRICEWATCH to find the lowest free-ship HD and these guys came pretty close (except for the rebate baiters) so I went ahead and crossed my fingers and ordered after reading the reviews on here.
The item was promptly (within 24 hrs after ordering) shipped and I received a pretty email with tracking detail.
Item will arrive tomorrow (4 days for free shipping is pretty good). If anything goes wrong with the order you should find a follow up posting (I am very aggressive when it comes to that). If you find none then that too was smooth.
These guys sell very cheap whitelabeled WD drives. My SiSoft even recognizes it for what it is. Good deal, cheap prices and free shipping make it a very attractive company to do business with. "

When I took the item out of the packaging I noticed it had scratch marks as if someone had used it and possibly dropped it. Also, the item itself was pretty flimsy - felt like it was going to fall apart.

Not sure if I would buy again, I don't like getting used, already opened products.

Update: I was contacted a few hours after I posted this review by PCMicroStore. They offered to send me a brand new card reader and a return label. I just received both.

To comment on their response about it being "impossible", I just want to say that it was open. The blister package had a cut along the top from one end to the other, which was room enough for me to get the reader and cable out. So, had been opened. I don't see a reason to lie about something like this."

"I bought the USB-IDE adapter ($15 included shipping). The shipping was quick.
However, it went wrong after I used it one time.
First, I connected to computer and brand-new hard drive, It worked flawlessly, and I formatted the hard drive.
Then I disconnected the hard drive from the adapter and connected to the other computer so that I can backup data from the computer.
Now the adapter stopped working.
I tested the hard drive, and found no problem at all. I found the problem is the power supply adapter of the USBIDE adapter.
Although its LED on, there is no power output for hard drive.
And it makes high frequency noise when I plug it.
And it gets very hot!!

So, I emailed to them describing the above situation.
They replied me within couple of days saying that they will send a tested replacement with tracking# and also a return label for the defective product.

The new product arrived very soon with returning shipping lable.
I am very pleased with them since they are so careful for the customer even for the very cheap one like mine, it is only $15 including shipping!
