"I ordered the Logitech Cordless Elite Duo cordless keyboard & mouse (Retail) on 6/20/03 and recieved it on the west coast exactlly one week later (average for ground). I got a good deal on the product for $60.00 + $10.68 shipping (a little steep).

The product was shipped in a used Altec Lansing box, but the Logitech box was in excellent condition.

I opened the box and attached the keyboard & mouse to my brand new PC system, but the Logitech Cordless Duo was D.O.A. Yep, it was deader than a door-nail. I shut her down, attached my previous Logitech Cordless keyboard & mouse and fired it back up and voila it worked.

I repeated these steps five (5) times and everytime the new Logitech Cordless Duo keyboard & mouse I bought from PCAvailable was un-available.

I was shipped a bogus box from the Eastside....

I read the previous user ratings and it seems that everyone is satisified with their sale, but unfortunatly for me, I didn't receive a working product.

Is it their fault? Probably not....it appeared to be an un-opened retail box. Maybe the quality control at Logitech is slipping some?

Would I buy from PCAvailable again?

I would hate to get a second order that performs as good as the first one did.

"I picked PCAvailable primarily due to the price, having had no former experience w/ this vendor. I originally ordered a Leadtek GF4 Ti4200. Within 12 hours of submitting the order, a customer service rep. called me at home (!!!!) to inform me that the Leadtek had gone out of stock and offered to change it to the MSI brand of the card, or cancel the order all together (I took the MSI brand). "I checked out the prices on Pricegrabber on Amdmb.com, and they had the best price on an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe system board, even with 2 day shipping thrown in. I checked their ratings here, and on Pricegrabber, and figured I'd give them a try.

Within 40 minutes of placing my order, my system board had already been picked up by FedEx, and was on the way to my door! No BS 2-3 day "processing" time. They took my order, and got it shipped out immediately. I can understand how some of the larger volume places might need 12 hours or so because of sheer volume, but I think others are using it as an excuse to charge "expidited handling" fees if you actually want it shipped out the same day you place your order.

It arrived exactly as scheduled and was very well packaged. Upon inspection, there was no damage, and everything that was supposed to be included with the board was present. I'd reccomend doing business with these guys again."

I immediately visited to ResellerRatings to find PCAvailable's rating.. but it was not listed. I thought to myself.. "uh oh, not another no-name company that rips people off..". Was I ever wrong!

I sent a quick email to PC Available's support email.. to check if anyone was alive at that address. (Often, many people forget to check if Customer Support really exists.) I received a reply to my email within hours! PC Available is a _real_ company who responds to email.

The sales department informed me that stock of the Radeon 9700 was going fast, so I ordered in the morning. I was hesitant, hoping they really did have a few left in stock. I emailed PC Available again after I placed my order, just to be sure. I got a reply in 8 minutes, telling me my order had been processed and my Radeon 9700 would be shipped in the afternoon. Sure enough, in the evening, I was emailed a FedEx tracking number.

I nervously awaited my package.. with thoughts of a 'damaged' product, or an opened retail box (or something to that effect). Once again, I was wrong! The video card was packed neatly and safely. The retail box was in its original shrinkwrap.. the entire package in perfect condition.

One Suggestion for PC Available: Provide an "order tracking" area for your customers. If such functionality exists, I missed it.

EDIT: They have now added the Order Tracking feature that I was looking for!
