They break it, you have to suffer the cost.

"So sent a faulty mainboard back to them within 30 days of getting it. kept rebooting and network port stopped working. They then send me a email that they returning my board due to damage of the cpu socket pins. The guy on the phone basically insinuated that i damaged the board and thats why i sent it back. Im not supposed to prove that the board was fine when i sent it yet they dont have to prove they didnt damage it. Crafty way to avoid replacing faulty equipment. Id avoid this reseller at all cost. Use SCAN or another reseller."

Very Unprofessional

"Ordered an Xmas present for my son and was missing an item..but sale done who cares attitude ..had to buy the item separately from a different retailer obviously...very disappointed and I'll never use this company again."

Hope you don't get problems

"Hope you don't get an issue

Wonderfully polite, decent prices. However if you get a problem forget about it. Wouldn't disclose any relevent details about the testing conducted and didn't test a considerable amount of the features which would initiate the component crash to begin with. They have offered to send it to the board partner but I am disapointed with the lacking support offered past "re-install windows and drivers". They also can and do remove negitive reviews of products on their own website, keep that in mind while you browse what they have to offer.

Functionally thieves

"Ordered a 3080 9 months ago, an hour after release. They attempted to deliver one on January 4th, but it failed to leave the country due to them misfiling customs paperwork. So far, fine - Supply problems and brexit have been a nightmare for everyone.

Since then they've failed to keep me updated unless I message, and then they insist I call through their obnoxious on hold music. They've 'had' to cancel my order and create a new one due to how their ancient order system works. They've refunded the first order on to the wrong, defunct card, and are making me do the work of chasing up why it hasn't bounced. Meanwhile, the second order - which I have now paid for twice - has not updated 5 months later.

I've been a loyal customer of theirs since 2001, and they genuinely were good at one point. However, brexit and supply problems have unveiled all the flaws which have crept into their business process the moment anything goes wrong.

Currently, absolutely no-one should order anything from them under any circumstances whatsoever.

Never going to order here again, middle finger received.

"I dont know what's been changed at OC uk , they used to have a simple enough system, you buy an item , they ship your item.

These days, you buy your item, you wait a few weeks. You call and email asking for updates as to when they can be bothered sending your "in stock" item. To be told maybe some time in the next 12 to 14 days.

(Ordered "in stock" item on the 7th, writing this review on the 26th after a phone call confirming they don't know when they might be bothered to send out the item that's "in stock")

Not good enough, sort your mess out, or don't. I'm never going to order here again.
So done with this mess.

Opague, Apathetic, Useless

"A lack of transparency, taking full payment for backorders (and marketing them as preorders), and doing a horrendously poor job of chasing stock from distributors/manufacturers has made for a stressful order experience.

Any attempts to inquire as to what is going on is ignored or met with contempt. Terrible customer service.

I'm still waiting over two months for a product after they missed 2 etas.... the 2nd being a "confirmed" shipment that turned out to be false. They claimed it was a "miscommunication." If they would have stayed in contact with the supplier it wouldn't have taken a whole MONTH to figure this out. Meanwhile I've missed several opportunities with competitors waiting on a delivery that never existed.... TERRIBLE

awful service

"terrible. i purchased the 3080 on release date shipping eta was 22/09/2020 finaly got a message saying i wont be getting the item anytime soon.
candled the order after a 30 minute phone call, no sympathy no apology just canceled the order.
i canclled my amazon.de order as overclockers took the money straight away and so i assumed it will be sent by 22nd. which it havnt so i missed out on a 3080 thanks to this place.
cancled the order and closed my account

Poor management!

"This is unfortunately the last time I try and give Overclockers over £5000. I phoned up around two weeks ago and asked before ordering if the parts I pay for would be put to one side for my build as it isn’t very sensible ordering an expensive system when parts are showing “in stock” at the time, to find they are all out of stock by the time it’s your turn in the build queue. I was told by Rich that it was requested and the build manager had agreed to it. So at the time the fans etc were all “in stock” and I was happy that there were only a few parts I was waiting on. I phoned up to check on the status as I was told it would be put through as a collect from store so it would not be put “on hold” and the build would go ahead until I was able to get the 3090 from them and then the full system would be sent out. Great right? No. The build had in fact been put on hold and the parts I had ordered like the fans had now “sold out”, and I was now told that I would have to wait for them to come back in but by that time other parts could be sold out, and let’s face it we could go on like this forever. Also they changed the 10900k retail to anOEM with no refund for the price reduction at all which I found to be very sly and underhanded, and when I asked about this I was told by one member of staff that there was no price difference which was a complete lie, then another phone call later a different member of staff told me I was in fact right and that the price was around £20 difference. Now had I have been told at first before paying my money that I could be on a merry go round trying to chase parts, and it won’t be until a miracle happens that all of your order is in stock at the time the build guy gets to you, I would have gone elsewhere. This system is completely broken. How do you expect someone to pay for a build when you don’t allocate the parts to them? What have I paid for? If this is the case I doubt all of the parts will be in stock at the exact time it comes to my turn in the build department. Let’s say my ram and cpu and fans are in stock but we are waiting on my psu, now your psu comes in but your ram is sold out, do you wait again, by this time your fans sell out???? Absolutely ridiculous! Cancelled my order, sick of being mucked around by this place to be honest. Don’t be fooled by their fake Trustpilot score, for every one bad review, 20 good reviews pop up, conveniently. This company used to be good many years ago, but i wouldn’t trust them with my money ever again!"

Package Lost by Amazon?

"Ordered a chair from amazon from overclockers uk, with a promised delivery on 5/9/2020, tracking showed that on 4/9/2020 it was in the distribution centre ready for delivery, stayed all day on 5/9/2020 in, waithing for the chair, where after 20:00 they informed me that it will be delivered between 6 and 9 of September, with most likely delivery on the 9th!!!
When I requested a refund they said they will return the money in 5-7 business days, so basically saying that either you wait to get the chair when we want, or you wait more to get your money back!
They did not take responsibility for this, but my view is that if you select unreliable partners, you are responsible too... so yes you do have responsibility for this... At the end of the day, I paid my time, you kept my money, and I am unbelievably frustrated by all this, and noone is paying for this...

Very Diappointed with this service

"I ordered an system specifically only picking components in stock, half a month later I got an email saying it would be delayed because the power supply was out of stock and imports were delayed a week. After this I recived a nothing email saying "(Stock error - last 1 missing)", so my order cannot be built at all and they asked me how should we continue with all my possible solutions given weren't possible. Meaning the only option i was left with really was either cancle the order an reorder a new system or liquidate the monitor i ordered along side it (this monitor was increased by £60 after I placed my order), meaning i would lose this extra value. "

Terrible dispatch time

"Terrible dispatch time! I understand with Covid-19 and there being delivery delays, but NOT with IN STOCK items to simply be dispatched. I paid for next day delivery, and still waiting 3 days later for the motherboard to even be shipped. I feel as though Overclockers UK are abusing the current situation of Covid-19. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for them to take 10 days to send out an item that's in stock, as like I said I understand DPD delays, but not Overclockers delays.

I called Overclockers Yesterday and was told the very expensive delivery that I had paid was for "DPD's services" and that once it's dispatched it'll be next day delivery, but they have no control on whenever they can be bothered to ship the motherboard. No where on their website does it state anything about such a "back log" they apparently have. Pretty disappointed, wish I used Amazon instead.

If you're willing to wait 10-15 days for delivery, sure... Use this company, but if you'd like the same items for the same prices (some even cheaper) with fast delivery regardless of the situation, use Amazon!

Misterious sticker

"47 year old pc builder by trade. Retrurned faulty £250 board in warranty to be told they will not test it as a sticker has apparentley been removed. No idea what they are talking about but this is the reason for voiding a warranty and they refuse to test it. Joke of a company. AVOID."

Makes me feel sad for the rest...

"I've been using Overclockers.co.uk for all of my PC related purchases since I first discovered them around 2008. They look after their customers in every way possible and have crafted a loyal community around themselves as a result. Sure you may find your parts a little cheaper elsewhere sometimes but they're always competitive. What you can't find anywhere else is their customer service. Questions about an item no matter how obscure, they'll either know or find out pretty quickly. Missed out on a killer deal on an item, speak to them they've refunded me the difference in price before. Got a faulty item under warranty, they go out of their way to get you sorted in a timely fashion.

I could go on an on but what's important is you give them a chance yourself, there are lots of good businesses out there you can use but nobody does it better!
