"I placed an order for a portable CD Player on 10/19. It was billed through Paypal to my credit card on 10/20.Since I had not received it, nor had I received answers to my email inquiries, Citibank put a hold on the payment and issued a temporary credit, pendibg resolution. After reading other posts on this board, it is obvious that I was dealing with crooks.
One of the reasons I chose to order from this outfit was their liberal return policy, i.e. no restocking charge. So, in spite of the "looks too good to be true" price, I was confident I could return the item for a refund if not satisfied. Well I guess it was too good to be true.

"I had the same thing happen with a $25 dollar knife i ordered. I ordered it mid-October and still no word. I also received no response from customer service. Paypal settled in my favor but can't return any money. "

"No item ever shipped, no response via email or phone. Paypal dispute also was never responded to, but of course no $ in their account to issue a refund either.

Business has multiple phone & email addreses none of which are responded to. Appears to be a fraudulent storefront.

"Also see more of this store's low and dismal ratings under Jaggers Wholesale - the mother company. These guys are SCAM-A-RAMMERS! Stay away from them! I ordered a small room heater about 4 weeks ago. By using PayPal they get your money first versus as the law requires debiting your money only after the item is shipped. I have sent repeated emails asking both the status of the order and finally cancelling it, but I have heard nothing from them.

Luckily, I learned awhile back that if you are going throughPayPal to use your Visa debit or credit card as they have a zero liability fraud policy.

First off, try to resolve the problem through the store (but these bums won't respond to emails), then go through the PayPal resolution process. If you cannot get satisfaction through PayPal, then go through Visa.

"Ordered and paid, after 2 weeks I began to inquire on order status, as all items showed "in stock" when I ordered. No responses (besides the autoresponder "we will contact you within 24 to 72 hours" hah!) to my inquiry emails or faxes, and no telephone number listed. Initiated complaint with paypal - claim resolved in my favor when outdoorandbeyond.com did not respond. No money recovered yet - I am still out over $180.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a web or mail order merchant. AVOID!

"See other folks' comment on Jaggers Wholesale.

They are the same crooks.

No product. No communication. No phone number. No nothing. Order was placed 9/23. Paypal was charged 9/23, and order was confirmed by E mail. I checked their site several times, but no shipping showed.

After a month, I sent them an e mail asking about it. No reply. Their site has a picture of a pretty girl on the phone, but they do not list a phone number for customers to call when the stuff is not delivered. They claim customer support is open M-F 9AM to 11PM PST. There is also no address, city or state listed. There is a fax number listed on the site.

I entered the confirmation number into their site, but the shipping date is blank, and there is no information in the shipment tracking window.

I could understand all of this to just be a glitch, but the lack of response to my inquiries and the lack of a phone number makes me suspect that they are crooks.

They also masquarade as Vogue and Beyond

and www.Doba.com.

All of their sites claim they are in the Pacific Northwest, but all the sites use the same fax number, which is registered to XO in St Charles MO. The parent company is in Orem Utah.
