"Credit where credit is due. I have to admit I was a little worried after I'd ordered then seeing the reviews. I ordered a £150 jacket and chose next day delivery. The jacket was wrapped well and the item arrived bang on time. Cheers. "

Don’t try and return anything!!!!

"Poor returns policy and service and lied about the condition of the boots. Don’t use if you expect to be able return anything that doesn’t fit.
Won’t be buying anything else from them.

Ignorant customer service, don’t buy from here!

"I was advised by customer service to return a pair of muck boots I bought, I was concerned with a split in the front ankle caused by walking! Which was letting water in to the boot.
There was also a hole in the sole of the other boot.
I was refused a refund due to the hole in the sole, apparently standing on a sharp object.
My concern was the split in the ankle not the sole, these boots should not be splitting due to walking they cost me £130.
When I ask about the defect of the ankle I was ignored,
Nearly two weeks later I emailed again stating about the splitting and the ignorance of the customer service to which I received a reply off JACK saying he’s sorry I never got what I wanted! And that the boots were not faulty!
If you buy any product from this company then expect ignorance and if you buy any footwear don’t actually use them just put them on and stand still.

Awful customer service and exchange process

"Package first arrived in okay time. Packaging leaves a bit to be desired of as it is just a thin plastic wrap that had holes in it after travel but nothing too bad to complain about. This is sadly where the positives end.

The nightmare begins if you need to exchange an item for a different size. They advertise free returns but do not tell you it's a 7-10 working day window. I sat and watched the last of the stock that they had slowly run out as they weren't willing to reserve one despite my returned item already being in their possession. After waiting 10 working days, I then had to wait for an additional week for them to order in new stock as it had inevitably sold out. Then after waiting for the delivery to arrive, they had sent the wrong size. Nearly a month for an exchange to just get the wrong item

It was at this point that I had had enough and just wanted my money back. There was no urgency to rectify their error after making me wait that long for the wrong item. Got a "we're sorry" and then told it would be another 7-10 working days to process a refund.

The customer service is one of the most painful systems I have dealt with. Every email they send starts a new thread and they take so long to reply to each email you send that you have no idea what it is in relation too. It seems clear to me that they are swamped dealing with customers. Clearly taking on far too many orders than they can manage to a good standard.
Would not recommend this company at all unless you have a lot of time and patience on your hands.

Scam artists!

"Terrible customer service. These people are a SCAM. Ordered a sleeping bag and paid next day delivery service, filled in all my address details on the checkout but because of a auto-complete option for some reason my actual street address did not register.

Royal Mail still had my postcode and flat number and my town etc. next day I heard nothing from them or OutdoorGB, really needed the sleeping bag as I was going away in the following two days. After I got in touch with OutdoorGB, they said it did not get delivered because I did not provide a street address? so surelu Royal Mail could just use the postcode or OutdoorGB or Royal Mail could have contacted me on the day to let me know this?

Asked for a refund and they have only refunded me the money for the product and not the next day postage insisting it was my fault when clearly they have a flaw in the online ordering process that doesn't pick these things up like a missing street address!

I will never use this company again and would advise nobody to use them for the simple fact that they don't respect their own mistakes and refund customers the full amount they have paid for a product!

Bottom line, go to another online camping shop equipment and get better customer service!

"Try to send some socks back that were nothing like the photo or description but they made it impossible. Do yourself a favour buy elsewhere. "

Great product

"I ordered a Jack Wolfskin coat from here, £80 cheaper than the shops. It's a great coat which I'm very pleased with. Communication from extreme gb sales was great, I'm only giving 4 stars as it took longer to arrive than it should but to their credit they did keep me informed without the need to chase them up. Would definitely order from them again. "

Ordered two products from OutdoorGB in last 6 weeks

"Both products (a Ruffwear dog harness and a pair of Scarpa GTX approach shoes) arrived on time -- I used the next day delivery service.

The price for both was the best I found, and both products are as described (and great)

Craghopper Nosilife Adventure shirts.

"I came across this company whilst researching the best option for some new fly fishing shirts. I immediately realised that their prices were very keen, and dispite not having come across them before, I took the plunge and ordered 2 shirts. However, my scepticism and my reservation was unfounded, as my items arrived on time (*within 48 hrs), neatly pacaged, and in excellent condition.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase, ( a tried & tested brand and style), and the speed, standard & method of delivery. I wouldn’t hesitate using the company again, and I would recommend them as a reliable online retailer.

No postage refund

"Ordered craghoppers but did not fit so was told to pay for postage to return. Got refund but no postage ast they say postage paid back on faulty goods only. If the did not fit should pay return postage. Ordered from other suppliers which give refund and the pay return postage
