"Called to determine if a particular Motorola cordless phone is compatible with Bluetooth headset. They said it was. It even says so on their website, which is a lie. IT IS NOT! Called Motorola who confirmed it isn't.

They were terse and rude even when I was trying to buy their product.

"They sent us an old phone instead of the new one we ordered, and wouldn't pay for shipping to fix their mistake! They also charged us a 10% restocking fee, even though they said they would waive that fee. Very unhappy with the service."

"Terrible service; ordered two base stations and 3 cordless phones; had a delay in construction and installed the phones after the 30 days of the order. One of the base station phones was the wrong model but was placed in the box displaying the correct model. I told her that I have the phone and the box as we noticed the problem in the caller ID (model 13 does not have it model 15 does). Called customer service and they declined to correct their mistake only based on the fact that it was over 30 days. But the fact that they put the wrong phone in the right box was overlooked. While explaining the situation to suppossedly a manager at their ***-***-**** number, she hung up the phone and would not give me any further information to her supervisor. Never ordering from them again. Also neworldit.com has better prices and awesome customer service."

"I looked at the company Internet site to find the batteries I needed for two phone hand sets. The model number for my phone set IS listed. I ordered two batteries. My credit card was charged.

The batteries came and they do not fit the hand sets. I double checked the store Internet site to make sure I had not made a mistake in ordering. NO: the model number of my phone set is listed for batteries in a plastic casing which is merely a different color than the casing on the batteries in my hand sets.

I wrote an Email to the store about the problem saying I intended to send the batteries back and asking for an exchange. To help the store out in sending me the correct size needed, I even included one of the dead batteries from a handset with the specifications name and number marked on it. I asked the company to exchange the two batteries which are incorrect for two of the same size and type as my own, to charge my account for any difference in price and send me two which fit.

Days later I got an Email back telling me days telling returns were out of time. No such time limit appears on the Order Receipt which was included with the original shipment of two batteries which did not fit my hand set although the model number for my phone set appears on the list of store offerings and my order was correct. Nor is there any direction on the Order Receipt that the store's return policy can be found on the Internet site and only there and the customer should look there for any questions regarding returns and exchanges.

The store now says they do not know whether they have my old battery to send back to me so I can use it to get replacements elsewhere. The company has refunded some of the purchase price but less the entire shipping cost -- shipping was discounted in the original sale as the total price exceeded the minimum price for discounted shipping qualifiations but I was charged the full amount of the shipping fee when the goods were returned -- plus a restocking fee. I was originally charged less than two dollars for shipping but the charge on the return for outbound shpping is triple that amount. I am also out the retocking fee of nearly four dollars. I have spent nearly $12.00 for goods which were advertised to suit my needs, didn't suit my needs, were returned to the seller when no notice of a return date was included with the sale documentation and the store has no interest in selling me two batteries which will fit my handsets. Although the store openly advertised that it has and sells batteries for my model phone set. FALSE & DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING! The truth is: the store does not have the inventory it claims to have. If it did, then sending me two batteries I need and am willing to pay for would not have been met with silence when that option is what this customer really wants: to make the transaction the seller promised to make!

DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE IS MY ADVICE TO ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS AS A REPUTABLE OR RELIABLE VENDOR. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE ONLINEPHONE STORE IS NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF SERVING CUSTOMERS!

This scam was not particularly expensive but it was a scam and it's only reinforced my usual policy: to the greatest extent possible, do not do business over the Internet!

"This company sucks. Very rude customer services as well. Never got an order I paid for. These idiots are just another drop-shipping web company that carries no stock what-so-ever and screws their customers. AVOID these idiots or be ripped-off!"

"I'd advise new potential customers of www.pricebreaks.com to not buy merchandise from this online retailer. I repeat, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING. Refurbished items are advertised and sold as new for the price of a new item. Unreasonable return policy. Go shop elsewhere but www.pricebreak.com. BEWARE."

"I bought a Garmin 265TW GPS from PriceBreak.Com Despite their claim to the contrary, the web site advertised it as new. It was delivered in a banged up box (this was a Mothers Day gift) as "factory refurbished". I could have gotten a refurbished one for considerably less from any one of several other vendors. They then said that this was an older model, and you can no longer buy it new anywhere. This is untrue. There are several other sites which advertise it as new. They then told me it would cost me shipping to return it, plus a 15% restocking fee, plus shipping for any new one I might purchase (fat chance). You have to read their fine print to know what you're really getting. Hopefully I won't have any problems with the one I'm now
stuck with. Don't buy from PriceBreak.

"Before you buy anything from Pricebreak.com (also doing business as GoGoTech, Inc., aka 101 Phones, Inc., iSAVE.com Inc., dba 101Phones.com, 101shavers.com, Birdys.com, EoutletMall.com, FactoryOutletStore.com, iSAVE.com, OnlinePhoneStore.com, PremiumStore.com) learn from my mistake and first read their return policy for DEFECTIVE products: You may be astounded to learn that as a matter of policy they will charge you a very steep “return fee” PLUS you pay all shipping costs if you dare to return defective products.

Even though the product I bought was defective out of the box and was returned to Pricebreak immediately, Pricebreak.com demands I pay them $54.59 as a “return fee” for sending back a defective $309 Garmin GPS device I bought off their website. Worse than that: It has been almost 2 ½ months since I returned the product and I still have received no refund at all, just a lot of stalling tactics and chicanery.

Here are the facts:

I placed order PKB6333005E on Dec. 9, 2009 for a Garmin Nuvi 885T GPS. The total cost (incl. tax and handling/shipping) was $309.99. I paid by Visa check card.

The product arrived Dec. 18th, a Friday.

Now the chronology of events to date:

12-21-09:
A) I opened the package, charged the unit and tested it, finding it to be defective. Within 60 minutes of initial use the screen had frozen several times requiring the unit to be turned off and then turned back on to resume operation. The Garmin also shut itself off without warning, requiring a manual re-start to continue. In short: it didn’t work.

B) I called PriceBreak.com Customer Service that evening (Dec. 21st) and was instructed to send the Garmin back by UPS with the Return Merchandise Authorization number I was given by Customer Service (the RMA number turns out to simply be the order number with RMA added to the front of the order number).

C) I am now out of time to reorder any mail/internet product that will arrive in time for Christmas so I head out to the local shopping center.

12-22-09:
I sent the unit back to PriceBreak.com the next day as instructed, at my cost (approx $10.00)

01-10-10:
I emailed PriceBreak.com asking about my refund, but got no response.

02-06-10:
I again emailed Pricebreak.com, demanding a response and promising to start filing complaints if I did not hear from them.

02-07-10:
I received an email that appeared to be a refund receipt for the Garmin unit. The refund notice contained a line item charge made against the total for $54.50 in “Return Fees”. It is in fact an invoice they seem to expect me to pay, apparently before they “refund” my original payment..

02-10-10:
A) I emailed Pricebreak.com and notified them that I was unwilling to accept a $54.50 chargeback in addition to my out-of-pocket shipping costs in order to return a defective product within 2 business days of receiving it.

B) “Arthur Gwynne” of PriceBreak.com responded to my email with one of his own stating that PriceBreak.com has a policy of charging 15% of product cost + (plus) shipping & handling in “Return Fees” for returning a defective product as noted in the FAQ section of their website.

C) I responded to Mr. Gwynne by email stating that was not acceptable and demanded a full refund.

3-1-10:
As of today, PriceBreak.com has not refunded ANY of my money. They seem intent on stealing all $309.99.

"Stay away from this company. I ordered a refurbished Uniden handset that was supposed to be capable of 2 line operation. However, the units Pricebreak sent were clearly labeled "1 line operation only." After e-mailing ****@**** several times to get a prepaid shipping label, I finally filed a chargeback with my credit card company.

PriceBreak even disputed the chargeback, claiming that I thought the items were defective - when in reality, they sent me the wrong ones, and didn't respond so I could send them back! I'm not going to pay the postage to send back a wrong item.

"I initially purchased a DOA Uniden phone and was given a $10 credit for shipping the dead phone back, which is fine. I then purchased a Panasonic refurb model # KXTG6074B which the website clearly stated as "WALL MOUNTABLE". The phone arrives with no mounting bracket and I'm told by surly PriceBreak customer service rep that Panasonic will supply it for free, wrong again-that part is $10.44 shipped. OK, so now I'm up to $92 for this refurbished phone. I called PriceBreak to see if they will cover the additional costs and they say TOO BAD ON YOU. They said they state the phone is wall mountable, but they don't have to include the bracket, that's optional. So-why say WALL MOUNTABLE! They could have said wall mountable with OPTIONAL $10 bracket. I was an english major and wall montable means wall mountable, not wall mountable w i t h o p t i o n a l p a r t s. This vendor is guilty of product misrepresentation and I'll be following up with the Better Business Bureau after posting this. I will never buy from them again and I suggest you don't either. I found another online vendor who had the exact same phone for $35 less WITH the bracket included. Forget about PriceBreak.com, OnlinePhoneStore, 101phones.com, and GoGotech-shop somewhere else and save yourself the headache. They'll take your green money alright, send you unusable items and give you ZERO support. "

""Factory Refurbished" is not supposed to be "put back in the box by unhappy customer!" This Uniden phone with three handsets, even had the Caller ID list from the previous owner! The cords were wrapped with rubber bands. Stay away from these guys. I have done business there in the past and they were pretty good, but things have changed."

"I ordered a Siemans Gigaset S455 phone and two S45 Headsets from Onlinephonestore.com, and realized that their price was $40-$60 more any other place listed on the internet. I called their customer service to see if their was anything they could do, and was put on hold for 22 minutes. When they finally answered they said that they don't "price match". I told them that I would be glad to pay the postage to ship it back to them for a refund, and they said that their was a 15% restocking fee. I decided to send it back anyway as a matter of principle, and will NEVER to shop their again!!! I use the internet to shop for most of the things that I need, and usually the companies are willing to work with me to solve any problems, but the Onlinephonestore is an exception..."
