Way Too Expensive for the Cheap Quality

"The receptionist desk we ordered was shipped in 2 different boxes--& each one shipped from a different warehouse. It took *three*weeks* for us to get the 2nd box! Even worse...the screws that secure the frame to the countertop stripped out immediately, as soon as the smallest amount of pressure was placed on them while turning the piece over to sit it upright. This desk cost almost **$2,000.00** but its just made out of the same cheap crappy walmart composite board & aluminum hardware--but at least the walmart stuff doesn't fall apart immediately!"

Poor intentory control, slow refund

"Website indicated item in stock, but I got a call and email that day telling me item was out of stock and backordered, asking me how to proceed. I replied that day and requested to cancel. A few days later without a refund, I called and was told they'd received my request and would start the refund. No refund. A week after that (15 days after order) I called and finally they refunded me that day. Not sure what is going on over there, but it is sketchy."

COVID-19 Scam?

"I called to follow up on the order and the customer service rep said it was in stock and will be shipped at the end of the month. Two weeks later I called after not hearing anything back and was told it was out of stock and will be another 2 MONTHS before the order would be delivered. I received no communication from the company at any point. When I do contact them they frequently do not have a reply for me until 2 days later (both email and phone communication).

I have heard of companies trying to increase orders in order to get more cash flow but isn't delivering their product because of COVID. The company then goes out of business a few weeks later and filing for bankruptcy and not shipping the last orders. Lots of the communication with all 3 reps were surprising positive as if everything is set for the order until communication went dead.

BEWARE OF POSSIBLE FRAUD.

This company has to be one of the worst!

"Short story: ordered $2k suite in august, received 2 months later, desk was damaged and refused at the door. Paid extra for shipping, so they would deliver into the house. It's now 6 months later, I still don't have that damaged piece (which is the desk!) and they are now claiming that the extra shipping I paid for is not for the damaged piece, it was for the original delivery (reminder, this is not my fault!). Boxes are very heavy and you need a lift and two strong men to take it off the truck. When will I get the desk, I still don't know. They are refusing a refund for the desk piece or the delivery when it actually does get here. I'm waiting another couple of weeks and I'll hire an attorney just on principal alone. Customer service is terribly rude and I'm still up the creek without a paddle. And to top it all off, these pieces take hours to assemble and the furniture is nowhere near as nice as it appears on their web pictures. Buyers beware, I wish I would have known before spending my hard earned money with these crooks. If you decide to take your chances, good luck and I hope you have a better experience than I have had. I'd look elsewhere if I were you. Don't get tricked by their photo shopped pictures."

"What a terrible company to do business with. I can't even begin to explain how awful of an experience I have had with an order that was placed over two weeks ago. Basically, this company let me purchase a desk from their website which evidently was not in stock at the time of purchase. However, they had no problems promptly charging my credit card and made zero attempt to notify me that they would not be sending me the product I had ordered. Had I not called them today, I more than likely would have NEVER been reimbursed for my purchase. The representatives I spoke to were pleasant; however, they had their stories mixed up when I had certain questions regarding the payment and shipment of my item. I would not recommend this business to ANYONE due to their lack of professionalism and business tactics."

"Buying from OfficeFurniture.com was a stress-free and happy experience. I purchased a Steelcase Cachet chair and they had a great low price with free shipping. While the chair was being made to order, I e-mailed asking if they could ask Steelcase to make the chair with the hardwood casters instead of the carpet kind, since I have laminate wood flooring, and they obliged with my request. Riley at OfficeFurniture.com provided excellent customer service to me throughout the process via e-mail. The chair arrived to me in great condition and I love it. I would not hesitate to buy from them again! :)"

"Officefurniture.com is a class operation. I just purchased a office desk set from them. They had the best prices and shipping rates among several internet sellers. Pre-delivery communication was excellent and I was updated frequently by email. When the pieces arrived there was a problem with an electrical component of one of the desks that caused damage to one of my monitors. Officefurniture.com immediately refunded me the cost of the damaged item - even though the damage was not their fault (but more likely that of the manufacturer). They have also shipped me a replacement for the damaged piece at no cost. It is this type of customer service that makes loyal customers. Although I wish the problem had not occurred, Officefurniture.com went well beyond what I expected to fix the problem. I couldn't be happier with the purchase."
