No Response/ Lack of Follow Through

"I ordered a set of gloves for a trip two- three weeks before I was leaving. A week before I was leaving, i called in to get an update on my order, I was told thay my order was in the warehouse getting ready & that i should get an email that day with a tracking number. I never got that email. I called back again two days later and I got the same excuse. Then i called back a third time to cancel my order and I was told it was cancelled.
It wasnt until i sent an IM through Facebook, asking that I cancel the order, that I was given a cancelation. In the IM response I was asked if i wanted a Opsgear credit and i said no. I am still waiting to see if I will get my refund on my card.
The purpose here isnt the amount of the money on the order but the lack of follow through. The customer shouldnt have to ask repeatly for an update. The company should advise them proactively, on the status of their order. This enhances the customer experience.
I will think twice before i order from Opsgear. If i see something on their website that i like, i will look else where for it.

"Bought the 5.11 pants, and a couple belts. I wear them daily overseas and they can handle it. The belts will last a lifetime, but can be cumbersome at times. A solid belt non the less"

Horrible customer "service"

"Ordered item on Dec 3rd. By Dec. 20 it had still not shipped (Christmas present, mind you), and we changed address to an APO so it would arrive earlier. As of Dec. 28th, it is still languishing somewhere in Chicago. Customer Disservice NEVER answers the phone with a human, NEVER calls back when they say they will, and answers one out of 5 emails. I would never buy from them again. They just don't care about the customer and don't deserve my money. Any other company would have been apologetic and offered something as compensation. Nada from this company."

Never again

"I ordered a jacket which I had to call and follow up to get it to ship. It supposedly had not shipped so I tried to cancel it. Then it shipped! I realized apparently that I had ordered the wrong size on the website as it goes to a certain size and color on the website I guess as a default. So, I tried to order what I wanted at the discounted price advertised for December and it was sold out. I now have no jacket. The credit for my return will I am sure take a while to come through. Oh, and they are sometimes hard to get on the phone and the message system apparently does not work as advertised because I never got a call back. This whole thing was a disaster! I hope it was unique to my transaction."

Worst customer service I've ever encountered!

"DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!! Worst customer service in the industry! Not only do they not respond to emails n phone calls, they will blatantly lie to you if your lucky enough to actually get someone on the phone. The guy Josh is a compulsive liar! I paid for overnight shipping, which was almost $60, and it took almost 5 weeks to receive my order. And when I told them how unfair that was, they refused to refund my money for the overnight shipping. This company has a horrible reputation for a very good reason. I strongly suggest that people do their research before buying ANYTHING from this scam company. I wish I had. Cause if I did, I would have known about the hundreds of other people who had the same exact bad experiences with this company! I will never spend another dollar with OpsGear. Too many other companies that offer the same exact products, minus the horrible customer service!"

Slow Service

"Shopped with Opsgear before. Took them over a week to process my order and another 3 days to ship out my order. It was supposed to be here before Christmas and didn't end up showing up in my mailbox until after I had left for the holiday weekend. Will seriously rethink before ordering from them again. "
