"I placed an order for a digital copy of ZBrush for PC at 9:10PM on a Thursday night. At 8:23AM the very next day I got my CD Code delivered. Less than an hour later I had my ZBrush downloaded and registered at Pixologic.

I am happy with the fast turnaround on my order and the reasonable reseller price for ZBrush. I recommend this place for anyone interested in purchasing a license of ZBrush.

"I had contacted this company about some high-end Autodesk software. They said they "had the product" (they actually order anything they sell from Autodesk), and sent me a quote.

I told them I had a competing quote that was about 5% lower. They sent me a revised quote for the product, with a link to pay for/order the product. After reviewing the quote (standard conditions about you cannot return any product past 30 days, etc), I ordered the product, and Novedge immediately ran my credit card for the purchase (several thousand dollars).

Several hours AFTER the credit card is run, I get an "oh, by the way" e-mail, stating they needed to "verify" my existing software. I contact them and am told they "meant" to tell me this before I ordered the product. Thinking it's fine, I give them my S/N to "verify". Lo-and-behold, they are "unable to verify". Hmmmmm (do you smell a rat, yet).

A couple of days later, I am told (all, post-sale) that I need to contact mfr, as they "were just on the phone with them". I call, and wait for over an hour, attempting to get someone (funny, how they say they can do it in the span of a a 5 minute e-mail exchange, but when I call there is over an hour queue). I inform them that their after-the-sale condition must be resolved by them (they put the requirements on, not me), or they can simply refund my money, for the product that shows "in process" on their own order site.

A week goes by and I hear nothing. No e-mail. No phone call. No Tracking Number. So I contact them (all via documented e-mail) and they said it is "my problem" to resolve, and they will not ship until I resolve the post-sale issue. I tell them I do not have time, and that I had already told them a week before, in writing, to refund money for the post-sale conditions they put on the order.

Later, I get an e-mail with a "customer cancalled" note, and a 5% "restock" fee.

Novedge NEVER ordered the product. Novedge put additional conditions on the sale AFTER they ran my credit card. When confronted on the phone, I am told I "should have known that verification of existing software was required" and further that they would not waive the restock fee. When pointed out that these conditions were not on the proferred quote - and that my acceptance of their written quote constituted a contract - they calmly said they would not refund the money.

Stay WAY away from such companies that attempt to charge you for after-the-fact issues they alone created through lack of disclosure.
