Buyer Beware

"I bought a Xi22 threadmill ( over $3000). Delivery date kept changing and when it finally arrived the delivery guys flatly told me that Nordic Track is aware that there threadmills are huge and don’t tell customers and they were having problems making the threshold delivery because the product simply was too large to fit through an average home door. Also it weighs a lot and requires four people to lift and not just the two that showed up. It was obvious these guys were beat and still had additional deliveries even after departing my home at 8:30 pm. After over an hour we finally settled on removing it from the box to enable threshold delivery. There was obvious damage, however the majority of the damaged were evident after assembly. Various portions were not sealed and the space between these areas was viable, scratches and dents in every part of the machine except the belt which arrived with three large boot prints. The informational and safely stickers were all faded. It was clear that the machine was significantly damaged or refurbished. Called customer service and frankly the first rep did not care. She promptly told me that it would cost me over $800 to return the damaged machine they sent me. Bottom line is that I spent over 6 hours, yes that was 6 hours on the phone and did not get my issues resolved. I finally submitted an online return request but for a message saying that a two would contact me. I was so mentally and physically exhausted that I just have in and paid the fees so I can be rid of Nordic track. Do not buy their products. Once delivery is made you will
Be on your own to resolve any issues and their customer service is terrible. They only care about money and not customer satisfaction. I will Karan from this costly and upsetting mistake.

Quick delivery, quality product

"After shopping online, I nearly ordered from the website but at the last minute I decide to call to talk to a customer service rep to ask some questions and I'm glad I did- the customer service rep threw in a floor mat for free. I placed my order on 12/18 and it arrived on 12/23- a day earlier than the projected delivery date. Took me maybe 30-45 minutes to get it out of the box and set up. My only complaint about the product itself is that the paint is starting to wear off the bar where the seat slides back and forth, and I wouldn't expect that to happen two months in (why bother to paint it then?) I also haven't figured out the iFit membership that was included- I bought the cheapest rower because it seemed like the only reason to buy either of the two more expensive models would have been if you planned to continue purchasing iFit memberships each year- and don't see the value in paying for a membership (but like I said, after spending 15 or 20 minutes trying to figure out how to register and use my free iFit membership, I gave up)."

As Great as Advertised

"The crew came about a week earlier than expected to deliver the NT s22i. They set it up and helped me login and get it ready to go. They were in and out in an hour. Everything works great and it is fun to use. "

Best deals are online but service is very slow

"I appreciate the great pricing available by purchasing online (for example, Best Buy had none of the discounts). Delivery was very slow and was about three weeks after I made the purchase. And our bike was assembled improperly by the "white glove" service and it has taken over a month to get the repairmen to our house to fix it. It took a week to get referred to the repair people, then another week for them to get back to me, then they only had extremely narrow windows of availability when they could come to our house. For a company as big as Nordictrack, I would expect more, especially for such a high end product. "

"Ordering on line went smooth and easy. Very proficient at processing credit card and withdrawing the money for item.
That's where the assistance stopped. The tracking number was helpful in tracking to a regional moving company which has held it for two weeks refusing to schedule an appointment to deliver my treadmill. My attempts to enlist Nordictrack shipping department have been fruitless. Many put on holds and dropped calls. This company doesn't care and will only make token
attempts to assist. Big on promises, but does not deliver.

Good luck!

" Excellent machine. Too bad, sometimes there are defective parts and if you are unlucky, you are on your own. There is no service department and no real people to talk to. Runarounds and dead end links, dropped calls, anything to keep from helping customers. You will live with anything that is wrong with your machine. they can always outwait you on the phone when it is all handled by machines who don't care. Love my machine, I will get used to living with the cheap defective parts."

Better than Peloton

"After my wife begged me for a Peloton Bike,

I leveraged my online shopping expertise to evaluate spin bikes and fitness applications.
This is what I learned:
1. NordicTrack truly offers a better product
2. iFit has an amazing UI with more options
3. The cost was better
4. And customer service I received fr was top notch

Just because Peloton may have better marketing they do not have the better product for your money

Worst Customer Service Experience

"Ordered a 1750 treadmill , which was delivered by two gentleman who stated they could not carry it in bc it was too heavy and left the damaged box/TM in my garage. Called NT 7 times and placed on perpetual hold. Then used chat....Ultimately, it was clear they don't care about the customer once the machine is sold. All I asked was to speak to someone to rectify the situation but received no help. Chat was finally over the internet who advised me to call returns... no escalation, no service recovery, the problem was placed squarely back in my lap.
NT does NOT care about customer service!

Terrible customer service. Don't be surprised if you don't receive your product.

"20 days and counting. For the price of the machine and the money these jokers spend on marketing their product they should be able to pay someone to answer their phones, chats and emails. The only way to get someone to care is to call the sales number (no surprise there.) They just put you back into a permanently one hold queue that they pass of as tracking inquiries.

I ordered a treadmill 20 days ago and received a tracking number. When the product appeared to stop moving I tried countless times to find out what was going on. Nordictrack do not appear to employee any customer care people so emails go unanswered. They have a live chat option that always tells you there is no one available to chat and automatically goes to their email option (see previous.) The only other option is to call. I've endured for 30 minutes on hold, no message to tell you how long the wait times are or even if there is anyone answering calls at all.

Conclusion; these cowboys want your money. After that you are on your own.
